Backhoe Boom Higher than Garage Door.

I think most backhoes are stored outside. I would leave mine outside but don't use that often, concrened about tires dry rotting. I also have a huge problem with mice getting into the headliner, and not a few. But far to many. Poison works but gets to be a bad smelling cab , for sure. Thanks.

I agree with what you wrote but before I can do anything, the PH must be taken care of first. Experts says. Nothing will work unless you get the water PH in a neutral zone. " No, largemouth bass would not thrive in water with a pH of 4.0. The optimal pH range for largemouth bass is generally...

As a matter of fact, its just the oppsite. If pond water has a low PH of 4,(acidic soil) it is very clear water. Can see down 10 feet in my pond. If the PH is normal at 7, seeing down past 3 feet is difficult.

After adding 8 ounces and stiring (5 gallon bucket ) water very little change on test strips to PH of 4. Adding a second 8 ounces made test strip all in the green zone of very good PH=7. At least I think its lime and not stone dust from cutting stone. I bought stone dust and still have a pile...

A Google Answer, but many websites and video on Youtube. Unfortunatly my pond gets filled with only acid rain EPA map area of PH=4. A fish not hatched but stocked in water with a PH of 4 will die. "Adding ag lime (agricultural lime) to a pond helps increase fish size by improving water...

Yes, I seen testing runs about $125.00. Really, I was suspicious of this guys bussiness practices from the start. I prefer not to mention his name, because of a lot of unknows. Maybe I got what he said he sold me ? It is a large trucking operation with 50+ trucks around Binghamton NY. Can't...

I figured a lot of people here, know about ag-lime. I searched online for hours and found nothing on my search. I will start from the begining. I read the reason for decline in fish pond size is poor water PH. I am in Pennsylvania in gas drilling area. I had paid for water testing before any...

Backhoe Boom Higher than Garage Door.

This would have been something i missed in 25 years " put a pin thru to keep the extendahoe". I read the manual and it talks about a hole for grease but would be wonderful to have one so it would not creep out. I will check owners manual. I have been using a hook at end of heavy chain to top of...

Backhoe Boom Higher than Garage Door.

I think i"ll try and use the bucket on the floor practice. That way I won't risk damaging the trusses by locking boom in place and when going out lowering it down again. I have a concrete floor but wood to put under bucket. I will still chain it back to swing frame so it can"t slide anywhere...

Backhoe Boom Higher than Garage Door.

I have a old Case 680 K extend-hoe backhoe. My garage has a 12 foot high door but hangs 6 inches lower when open. I have not had a big deal, lowering the boom and locking back in place. However my luck ran out and I damaged several roof trusses when throwing back into locked boom position. I...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Sorry it took so long to reply. Tightening the bolts seem to of ended the leak completely. The floor is so dry I thought I had no hydraulic fluid to loose. But it looks good. I now have another problem a air conditioning leak I can't find. I am a retired HVAC mechanic, but this leak can't be...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Harry, Today was the big day I started the repair. After the PTO cover was removed everything changed. I could see the oil leak and it was not the rear PTO seal. It was where the rear hydraulics Body and transmission Body bolt together. Oil was leaking out of this seam at the bottom, directly...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Yep! your right. After looking at the lead diagram, I can see the part you provided, drives the driveshaft from the rear to the front. Thanks for all you provided. I'll let you know how I make out. I don't know the purpose of the "disk" but its $80.00. Would you think, that's something I need...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Actually I printed that same page around noon. After I looked at it , I convinced myself that's not the part. But I have been wrong many times. It is the only pages I printed. I see the hydraulic line on it and do remember seeing one looking like that in the driveline rear. Thanks again. I will...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Does the part you sent me attach to the rear bottom of the tractor ? Maybe I am not seeing things as you are ? Maybe this part connects to the driveshaft (separate part) spline. That makes sense. I am confused because all the other parts in the same group (front axle) are only the front wheels...

They use to show on the drawing where the part linked to. However the driveshaft only shows it coming from the front axle. Can't see the back end drawing. I looked but not certain what its connected to.

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Yes, I just posted 3-point hitch so not to confuse what end of the tractor I have a problem. No it is the 4 X 4 driveshaft. But the part you posted and I already seen does not look like the driveshaft. The part in the PDF, is the right part, another drawing shows the shield that covers it...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Pretty confusing, because the end coming from the transmissions has no seal and must be in the 4 X 4 transfer case. I attached that part drawing. Looks like part #4 , oil seal could be it. But its had to be sure. Being I need to drain the hydraulic fluid ! best to have the parts in hand so I...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

That is the one I found first and don't think its the right shaft. The one I just posted is the right drive shaft, but only has a seal on the front axel 4 X 4 End. On the 3-pont end they show several parts but no mention of seal. I guess I'll take it apart and see what I can see. Thanks again.

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

I did not look at your link yet, but did come up with this part list. Not sure what I need from the parts list but the leak is from the rear where the hydraulics fill and 3-point hitch is. Oil is only coming out of drive shaft cover.

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

Thank you so much for your reply. I am having a difficult time trying to find the correct parts diagram with the part list. I keep finding, the front axels 4WD PTO Shaft . Being I did not take the cover off its possible this is the correct part but doubtful. The seal to the front axel is good. I...

    Tl-70 Hydraulic Leak

I have a hydraulic leak for many years. However it is getting worse. I looked it over for many times. I notice it after I use and park. I estimate it loses about 12- to 16 ounces, if you run it six hours. Being I only notice the bottom of the tractor with oil droplets, and no lines near by, it's...

Thank you have a great Christmas and New Year. I think another poster mentioned it but I have not found any way to tell what pump I have. A few numbers on the side, but nothing online I can find matches. I will take another look with my inspection camera. Thanks again.

It slightly snowed. I thought I could share a picture of my driveway with all. Most people said you got to be nuts to have a driveway that long. My wife choose a home site 3 X this distance, and 40K to run the electric. This site was 15K for electric. If you look towards the bottom of the...

It might be easier for me to try and connect to the second remote with the broken control cable. Is it a simple job to replace the valve end of the cable ? If I get that fixed, I could hook up to that valve. If it works I"ll be good. If not, pretty much confirm a problem with unload valve. I...

Yes ! I think I posted a pick of the remote valves without the plow connected. Only one of the valves adjuster is available. The other had been broke off when I got it. I can get a replacement cable for $110.00. But I had never used the remotes until I got the plow. I am a pretty good backyard...

Okay, I wish that was the case. I have a angle snow plow with two small cylinders and two connections going to them. There is a bleeder port on both cylinders. I bleed everything many times. I turned the fluid adjuster max in both directions. It takes at least 3 minutes to end of travel fron...

I took some pics of the pumps. I tried to find them in parts list but no luck. The one closest to the front looks like the biger pump based on apperance and line size. I took several more pictures of the back of the valves. Maybe the nut around the screw turns. However in the book it says the screw is for "end of travel". They are in a bad spot. I tried a 3-foot long flat screw driver nothing moved. I could get a socket on the nut, but have no idea what I am...

Thank you, I"ll take a look and see if I can find a pump and nameplate. I did see the steering pump. So the main pump is visable ? Does that lift the 3-point hitch ? I thought I read it was submerged in the rear housing. A lot I don't understand about the working of a tractor. Happy...
