    Need new Joystick

I have not but will. Is it just me but isn’t a combined joystick/control valve simpler and therefore more reliable than cable operation?

    Need new Joystick

Have two Branson 2017 2400H tractors. One has a skid steer quick attach and the other does not. The SL00 quick attach has a joystick with cables to the valve below. The cables keep sticking. Disassembled, cleaned, and lubed a few times and am still having issues. I would prefer a joystick/valve...

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

You are correct sir. Auger was locked in tight in clay. Dummy me, rocked tractor a bit and the housing broke apart. My heart sank. I can weld but not cast iron so I brought it to a pro. FINALLY putting it back together. Hope it holds. Should I flush trans case?

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Ha ha, I am a perpetual transient. Problem with that is when I need a toll 'here' it is 'there. ' Frustrating.

Just rebuilt a Little Beaver EZ Kwik trencher. Runs better than most of my gas-powered machines (many).

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Xlent content my friend. Did I miss-say aluminum somewhere? No, the tricky cast iron here. I will take a photo of my "attempt." So many shops wouldn't touch it because 'it is likely to fail, ' well, we'll see-hopefully not. Just got a good deal: Met an airport owner who provides quasi-heated...

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

I too thought about a mechanical abutment of sorts, but haven't gotten there yet. Just want to avoid another failure. The worse case scenario, of course would have the welds fail and re-damage the case and/or hydraulic cover. Can I ask you, in the event some foreign materials entered the case...

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Like your thought sequence. I too thought of pulling the pan and looking for gremlins. Also thought about injector pump..BTW, as an engineer I do a fair amount of customer work because thhere seems to be a shortage of competent techs- but I am hamstrung (mixed metaphor?) with one

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

I am an engineer albeit a one-handed one. But I did think of doing a Frankenstein and combining them. Right now I'm looking into the injectir pump. Since it sat I would think the fuel system is a mess. Would there be a way I can send you the video which has the engine audio?

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Thank you sorry for the reply delay. Hurt hand. 8 surgeries. So we welded in two studs and extracted 3rd. Now with two hand I will reassemble. Hope cast iron stud welds hold up but again there are nine total bolts holding cover to gearcase. Fingers crossed. Got another same year 2400h and it has...

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Well, I went to blacksmiths, foundries, fabricators, and machining companies, and no one would accept the cast iron failure rate. So, what did I do? I found the same model of the tractor at Richie Bros that also had a heated cab, snowblower, skid steer quick attach, and 3rd function hydraulics...

    Broken hydraulic Cylinder Case

Got post hole digger leveraged in a clay hole and the rear case broke apart. So odd as I have dug many a hole. I think I may have tried to upright the auger and a whole lot of force was exerted on the 3pt lift arms. Anyway, disassembled, purchased new cover but contemplating how to go about...
