checked air-fuel ratio with wide band meter. expected it to be on the lean side. it was right about 12-13 to 1.

have you tried pumping some grease in to break it loose maybe?

made 10" bucket w/no teeth. like it very much. not too crazy about the OEM one.

wrapped muffler with motorcycle muffler packing & muffler tape. it melted and the tape burned. measured temp with heat gun, it was over 900 deg f. what are you all using for this? thinking about trying carbon fiber welding blanket.

installed seat belt. almost got bucked off a couple times.

made ripper. works ok. may cut shorter & sharpen it more.

on the L12 where the hoses come out of the boom, really sharp edges. took die grinder & rounded them off. replaced damaged hose protector. almost ready to start using this dang thing.

replaced hour meter with multi-gauge & battery tender socket. also rewired ignition with one from my old JD160 lawn tractor. left battery cutout.

welded doubler plate & eye on bucket.

the geometry is sub-optimal, but is works. did not want to take the plasma cutter to the new machine. will fine tune this winter. pulled a couple stumps & live trees this week.

Reconfigured controls. used baling twine to pull them across. also installed hydraulic thumb. getting close to usable now.

new L12, install filter, change controls to hetero, & new fluid.
