Hank, I’m in the same situation as you were. We’re you able to access them without substantial dismantling and removing ? The fuel tank is in the fender on my 3320 tractor.

The solonoid in question is not for the starter. The engine runs fine. The solenoid controlling hydraulic fluid flow to the hydrostatic transmission can not be seen located either in the center case of the transmission housing or above it .
I went to the JohnDeere dealer and spoke to a helpful parts manager who printed off numerous tech pages for me. The reason I couldn’t find the solenoid is because it is in the center case of the transmission. I will write more after I continue working with the tech sheets.
It is a hydrostatic transmission. I have seen this diagram but searched the entire transmission area and cannot orient this picture to the tractor. Is the center case shown in this diagram visible without dismantling other structures?
