Found this on the ground the other day. Can someone tell me where this came from on my BX24?

Had my first readout replaced under warranty at about 100 hours..now 275 hours, it's all blacked out again. Is it even worth my while to replace again? I normally just gauge engine speed by listening to the tractor, she usually whines like crazy if it's not enough...:thumbsup:

Just thought I'd share since this was the first time I ran into this and it took about 20 minutes (time to get more done during the shorter days). Doing my normal backhoe and loader work when the tractor shuts off and cannot be restarted (you can hear clicking but engine won't turn)...

OK...made dumb move...filled up my tank and left the cap off for over a week...:( had several southern storms come on by during that time. I've only cranked it once but shut it right back down after i noticed the cap was off. Bought some Heet to put in, but what else should i do before i start...

Pressure washer? Seriously? I'm due for a wash, but using a pressure washer on it? Is that really required?

I have some leftover Kubota UDT from the 50 hour service last year and am ready for the 200 hour. Since I'm outside my warranty period I need some opinions: 1) Do I truly need to run the high dollar UDT (even more for SUDT)? 2) Can I mix the left over UDT with another type of hydraulic fluid...

I've been noticing it happening more now and more particularly on the right side. Should I be concerned? Is there a way to prevent that from happening? I saw the nut that can tighten the pivoting motion, however, I didn't think that would actually prevent contact.

Okay...this has probably been discussed before but I thought I would ask again to see if anyone has good ideas on how resolve this. I have to tap on the reverse pedal to disengage the forward drive all the time now. Brought it to the dealer to have them check/fix it...got slapped with a $60...

I've noticed this since the first time I smelled what HST fluid was like (after 50 hour service, but didn't think anything of it. Now that I've been educating myself on TBN, I'm wondering is it OK to get whiffs of HST odor while using the tractor? I thought that the HST was a completely sealed...

I didn't think to ask the people there, but is hydraulic fluid considered to be the same as engine/automotive oil :confused: There's only two containers at the recycle centers and one is labeled engine/automotive oil and the other is cooking oil. I went ahead and dumped it into the engine...

I think the detent on my BX24 has shifted somewhat and it now locks in the raise position. Not good when I almost dumped the dirt on myself :eek:. Anyone ever experience that? Anyone know how to make the adjustment if possible? Does anyone know how to tighten up the slop in the joystick too?

OK, I have to admit that I was very skeptical about what difference having the rear tires filled on a BX24 would provide since I was told by the dealer that because of it's smaller size, filling them wouldn't have too much impact. And as long as I kept the BH on, no addtional conterweight would...
