    single action cylinder question(s)

So, I'm guessing it doesn't matter which port I plug into, but that will determine if I push or pull the lever to lift the sickle bar?

    single action cylinder question(s)

I'm not certain what you mean by "short run". Thanks!

    single action cylinder question(s)

I guess I can't say if it has a float option on the rear remotes. All I've ever used it for is to adjust the angle on back blade when plowing snow. The lever floats in the center position but I don't think that's what you mean.

    single action cylinder question(s)

I picked up a Chinese sickle bar mower that has a single action hydraulic cylinder, power up/gravity down. My Kubota tractor has a single set of rear remotes on a dual action control. I don't understand hydraulics nearly well enough, but I'm guessing this is a problem in terms of using this...

    Draft control bleed off

Dang.... I was hoping for the easier fix.

    Draft control bleed off

Thanks..... guess that's the fix I need to research next.

    Draft control bleed off

But it doesn't..... it drifts down.

    Draft control bleed off

You're most likely correct, the knob I always thought was for draft control is near the floor below the seat. The lever next to the 3 point lever is cruise control. I'll need to look at the back end and I'm guessing I do not have any draft control function. Still need to figure out how to keep...

    Draft control bleed off

You could be right, I'll have to look in my manual, but I thought that was the draft control knob . However it still does not lock in the raised position (for long anyway), therein lies my problem.... thanks!

    Draft control bleed off

After I posted and read up more on draft control I realized that maintaining implement height doesn't appear to be it's purpose. I should have stated that I did try using the 3 point hitch lift to accomplish this but the lever vibrates and eventually lets the implement drift down. The locking...

    Draft control bleed off

I have a Kubota B3000 w/draft control but when fully closed to maintain implement height whatever implement is hanging back there drifts down within several or so minutes. I'm assuming this is a valve/hydraulic issue of some sort , or do I have the absolutely wrong idea what draft...

Flail mower first try = terrible cut… SOLVED

Thanks.... for some reason I hadn't considered 4 gauge wheels. Guess I'll search and/or try to figure out why my draft control drifts.

Flail mower first try = terrible cut… SOLVED

This is the first time I've heard that the skids should not touch the ground, though I often raise my flail mower in order to get a higher cut. My problem with that is the mower drifts down in pretty short order. I have the draft control set to not allow that but the hydraulics pay it no mind...

Placement of doors in 40x60x14 workshop

As others have said, it depends on a lot of factors. My own setup is nearly identical to yours. 40 x 60 and (2) 14 X 12 doors. I put mine on one end for the drive thru capability. Another door would be useful but I didn't want to lose the additional wall space intended for benches, wall storage...

NX5510 - No hydraulics after filter and fluid change

I just had a similar situation with my Kubota B3000 tractor. But it was oddly different. I had just finished changing fluid & filters and started the tractor to move to it's parking spot. Loader and implement on rear functioned as expected as I moved the tractor. It was left sitting for a couple...

Titan Attachments _ palletforks.com replacement parts policy

Perhaps this is old news, I did a cursory search and didn't turn up anything. But Titan Attacments @ palletforks.com has what I consider a very strange replacement parts policy that folks who are considering their attachments should be made aware of. Shortly after purchasing their 3pt. 60'"...

    Kubota B 3000 HSDC 3 point problem

I went out to use tractor yesterday and there was no 3 pt. action. It was as if the lever wasn't connected to anything. Turns out that was the problem as a roll pin worked it's way out of the linkage bracket that connects to shaft going into the 3 pt. control "valve?"... No big deal I thought as...

    loader will not drop

Howdy... I have a relatively new (167 hrs.) B 3000 with loader. I've been using it quite a bit lately cleaning up after a tree felling project. This morning as I was using it, all of a sudden the loader bucket will not go down. If I engage the auto down position it will go down, but straight...

    crushed limestone pole barn floor

I'm planning on a pole barn soon and was talking it about with friends. After saying I was going to do a crushed limestone floor one friend commented that would rust out all my equipment prematurely. I had never heard this and have googled it without turning up much. Has anyone had any...

adding a hydraulic top link and hydraulic rear blade Kubota B3000

I'm somewhat new at tractors and hydraulics so perhaps this is a dumb question, but if I wanted to add a hydraulic top link and also upgrade to a hydraulic rear blade on my Kubota B3000, wouldn't it be a simple matter of re-plumbing a couple wyes into my existing rear remotes? I figure if I...
