What brings you out of the valley? Yes I am sticking with the 12 G. I plan to put 20 amp in our bedroom, the office and probably the front bedroom on guest side. I have had to have an oxygen generator running in my home it tripped 15 amp switches and we had to have ridiculously long hoses for...

We pulled electric wire today. Finished the front guest bedroom and got into the middle guest bedroom before heading home. about what we will be doing for the next few weeks. Did not use any 14g wire. I’m sticking with the 12 guage till I get to the smoke detectors. Dropped a video today...

I ordered the AY McDonald pump I was looking at. Along with a control box and some overpriced wire. (Probably not overpriced, but certainly not cheap).

Buying a pump has turned out to be a pain in the backside. Out of stock, out of stock, out of stock. I found an AY McDonad. Asked for a quote and they had problem e-mailing it to me. Now it is gone as well. I guess I will call tomorrow to check on some of these and buy whatever I can find. Good...

Seems that like most supplies lately, I am on an epic quest. The Grundfos pump is not available anywhere. There appears to be an AY McDonald stainless available. The impeller is a type of plastic. Given the downward spiral of our supply chain I think I should just grab it and be glad.

I am constantly learning from this experience. I think I have found grunfos pump I need. First I have to verify that I am not oversizing it. It’s 16 gpm. 1.5 hp. And second I need to make sure they have it in stock. $1,100-$1,400 depending on vender. If not available then the AY McDonald shows...

It’s gonna make me spend more money. These pumps are bloody expensive. And the proper components to go with them, wire, pipe, etc. not cheap.

He gave me some help on guidelines for the pump. I am looking at the AY mcdonald website. They have some info that will probably at least let me know what questions I can’t answer.

I wrote all this last night but apparently it didn’t send. I put up a 37 inch wide piece of 3/4 plywood over the hole. Wife painted it white. I will mount the panel this week. I’m not removing the 12 g wire. Its been pulled and cut. Replacing is just gonna cost me money. I don’t like changing...

I was in the parking lot of lowes, on the way home from work, yesterday when I opened that link and gave it a quick look. I should correct myself. The direct pressure system comes with a 4.4 gallon tank that is attatched to a small manifold, which can be mounted to a wall. I have a 40 inch space just inside the door to the mechanical room where I could mount this to the stud wall and free up enough floor space for...

The Ventrac? Yes, it is a farm implement. We try not to buy each other things that are not for work on the farm. You really have to be on the same page for that to work. I know of many couples where they are not equally enthusiastic about farm life.

I called the folks at Aqua sciences today. She priced out the stuff I need. She priced a goulds pump that should give me 15 gallons a minute at 40 psi. At about 2950 and a goulds constant pressure system that would give me 15 gallons per minute up to 70 psi at 2750. The constant pressure is...

    Titan 7 foot rotary mower.

Mahindra implements are made by Kodiak, as I recall. An American company. Titan is also an American company. is the John Deere MX 7 heavier built than the Titan? Well it costs over $5,000 so it had better be. I paid 2195 for my Titan plus 500 for the chain guards. I didn't think I was buying...

We put up some siding this weekend, and I painted it today. Why would I put up siding at this point? Well the far side of the house had no siding on it. And to get the electric run to the house, I need a disconnect on the outside. And it seemed logical to me that I might want to put up the...

I looked into on demand electric water heaters. Higher amounts of energy needed and you require 30 amp and larger circuits for them. I make myself crazy with all of this.
