    Tar River seeder/drill

Hey Foggy, I was wondering how the Tar River NT drill would work on “side-hilling”? Would the seed get pulled out correctly? Or does the land need to be flat? Tim Traverse City, Michigan

    Adjusting the Landrake

If your landrake has two or more holes for your top link, use the lowest hole to the ground. That angle will give you the best angle to glide over the ground. Don’t get me wrong, it will still dig in. You will have to get good on the up/down lever and be active on it. When your tractor goes...

    B2650 under powered when loaded?

Mine are loaded. If I sense I am bogging down with the heavy weight up front (60” snowblower or FEL), I switch to low range. I normally do FEL work in low gear anyway.

    B2650 under powered when loaded?

Yep, that step up from the 2650 to the 33series is big…especially for the emission processes and the extra tactics you have to go through.

B2782B only goes up in low rpm

Has a recent hydraulic fluid change just been conducted? Has it always done this? If I had to start trouble shooting this, I’d clean up a couple drain pans very clean, drain the fluid, change the filters. I’d look at that fluid very carefully (In a clear lemonade pitcher) before I put it back...

Big tool rack - no returns in 7 years claim

Here is my Big Tool Rack. I did the ole TSC 3-point frame and rigged it myself. I leave it on most of the time with blow downs, and rock removal in full swing this season. I only brush hog twice a year. I only landscape rake once per year. I only rototill once per year. So, even with the...

    B7500 losing RPM’s/power

I do the easy stuff first. Change the fuel filter, blow out or spray out your air filters and radiator. Take it back out with mower on and see if you can replicate the power loss. Hopefully you can’t.

Now that is something I could use right there!

    Clutch Slip Confirmation

Agree with the two guys above me. If you spun it and the blades didn’t turn, you broke it loose and “ran it in”. As long as you got the nuts tight again, you are good to go.

    Woodland mills stump grinder

We used their stump grinder yesterday. Worth the wait…and the payment.

    Kubota 2650

I am betting the linkage under the treadle peddle is sticking. Lube that zerk, but really spray the linkage all the way to the spring and above. And work that peddle by hand while you are under there.

ZD1011 Another Kubota to the lineup!

Sweet ride. I have a front deck Grasshopper and love it except for the gas consumption. Its replacement will be diesel.

    B2650 tire pressure for mowing

I think you’d be happier mowing with the ZT. I have a 60” Front deck Grasshopper and I have trouble with hills too. I have figured out a pattern to come down the hill and go up the less-sloped areas. My yard is 2 acres with irrigation. If you could “try out” the belly mower before you...

    B2620 Mower Size?

Great question. I have outgrown my rotary cutter…everything that needs to be trimmed is gone. I will upgrade to a finish mower now when I move from annual food plots to perennial food plots. I used a 60” rotary cutter on my B2640HSDC, and it had zero issues pulling up hill. I was thinking a...

    Rake or rear blade best?

I like my Country wide, but I have light sandy loamy type soil. It does great on my gravel driveway too.

    Landscape Rake offset

I have the cheap Tractor Supply Countrywide rake. I turn it 45 degrees for pulling gravel from the edge of the trail to the center. I also drop the outside edge 3-point arm down an inch or more so it digs in on the outside and not so much on the inside. Works great to build a crown. I also...

    Rake Landscape Rake Purchase

My method was to back up to the edge of the woodline and pull the gak in the direction of the pile. When I got a good rake full (of dirt and debris), I would lift the rake slowly and roll the debris up on top of the dirt windrow. I would time all of the “rake lifting” about the same, so all...

    Rake Landscape Rake Purchase

I love my Craigslist Countyline LR. I removed everyother tine and did a new food plot. Raking gak (debri) into a windrow and then throwing it into the bucket by hand is a lot easier than chasing it all over hell’s half acre. I replace the tines for winter and use the LR to pull roof slush...

Dirt Moving Cultipacker- best hitch for me?

I went from 4 huge piles of swamp sludge from the long stick excavator (great black soil mixed with roots and stumps) to thousands of little piles from a wheel loader. I spread out all the piles of slop to dry out.

Dirt Moving  Cultipacker- best hitch for me?

Before I move forward with buying a new 72” cultipacker for my B2650 HSDC, I need an answer to a question and you may be able to answer off the tops of your heads. The roller will be used at my house property and mostly on a Bowl-shaped hillside around my pond (moving horizontally across the...

Mowing Large acreage to finish mow

Absolutely gorgeous. Here is my 4 acres, cut every 4 days with a 60" grasshopper. The hills are steep, but I have a pattern to save the mower a undue stress
