Buying Advice I pulled the trigger!

My 6065 has been nothing short of perfect. It’s solid as hell and a beast. I‘m very happy with the size, not too big at all. I use my tractor for a lot of things on this land. Hauling flagstone, bush hogging, lawn grooming, land clearing, ditch digging, pipe laying, you name it. The shuttle...

    Grab Handles

I have a 6065 4WD and while bush hogging or operating in general, I miss my grab handles that were on my 4505. They were located on top of the flat fenders but my new tractor only has a cup holder. The grab handles to assist in getting on the tractor are too low from the operator’s seat. Has...

Thoughts On Lining Up Bucket to Front End Loader

I’ve been running a tractor for a long time but with my newest addition, I’m having the hardest time lining up my bucket and forks. I can’t see the brackets because of the loader arms. Any ideas on an easy way to line them up? I’ve read putting a painted line on the quick attach plate and bucket...

3-Point Hitch Need advice on top link height with finishing mower

Final update...... Service department called me an hour ago and has ordered all the correct parts and asked if I would mind putting them on myself and of course I don't mind at all. Thanks again for everyone's contribution to this thread. This forum has and will always be my go-to for tractor...

3-Point Hitch Need advice on top link height with finishing mower

I don’t have my drawbar on the tractor. The top link upper plate is hitting my pto shaft. You’re right that there’s A LOT of travel.

If the dealer doesn't come through, I'll try that if the angle will allow it to fit the rear mounting hole.

3-Point Hitch Need advice on top link height with finishing mower

That's just it. I purchased an 18 inch (very short) top link yesterday to see if that would work and the photo I posted here originally is with the shorter top link. The problem is that the mower is too close and too low because of wrong hardware on the mower. I think. LOL!

The dealership hopefully will be installing longer mounting points. Thank you for the suggestion.

3-Point Hitch Need advice on top link height with finishing mower

Lol, I grabbed a tape measure and measured it to be sure! It’s an 84” mower. I also just left the dealership and they stated that they will be ordering ALL the correct parts and that they’ll make it right, so we’ll see. My Mahindra 6065 is brand new with zero modifications. My top link is higher...

Okay, I may be on to something. Sorry for the back and forth. I purchased a Frontier GM2084R. After checking it out more, I found a sticker from the dealer on my top hitch support which states GM2072 which you’ll see in my photos. It’s also #1 in pdf photo. The top hitch arms (#2 in pdf) are...

I put my original top link on and have the floating link as you see in my photo while all four wheels on the mower are on the ground. I just tried that with my original top link. It wouldn’t fit unless I put the floating link above the brackets and towards the back of the mower. As it is, it won’t pick up the back of the mower and I can’t risk damaging my pto from torque of the pto shaft. I didn’t know you could run the floating hitch in the up position, thanks for the heads up. I’m trying that too.

That’s a shame and is exactly why I started this thread. What a shame. I guess it’s not cost effective to cover all or most items from the elements but it does make it challenging when an implement is being delivered from another state sight unseen.

Curious as to how common this is across the country. Just about every dealership around here sells new implements that are two, three or four years old or more. I recently started mowing more and more land around my house to have a nice lawn. It’s about four acres, the rest I brush hog. It was pasture land and is rough on the kidneys and back so I want to level it. Should I start with a pto tiller, disc or box blade? I have access to all three. I’ll...

    ALL IN A DAYS WORK!

Hello All! Today I welded hooks and toothbar plates to my bucket and also finished my carry all! I bought a stick welder because I got impatient waiting on a welder to come out to the house. I've been practicing welding for a month or so and it just seems to get tougher. Anyway, first I sanded...

    Mahindra RPM Guidelines

I recently purchased a new 4530 and traded in a 4505. Looking at the attached picture, you'll see the recommended PTO setting is at 2100 RPMs. My question is where do ya'll set your RPMs when doing loader work or anything else not using the PTO? Mud

    Using My New AMH Forks!

I finally got to use my new forks by Arrow Material Handling today. They're rated at 4500 lbs. Picking up limbs and fallen trees are a breeze with these forks. As you can see in picture 3, that big dead oak standing in the background has to come down so I'll get some more use from these forks...

    Mahindra's Bucket Strength

I know that there are many threads about bucket reinforcements but I didn't find much about Mahindra buckets. Thanks to bindians blog pics on M's website, I'm getting two hooks welded on my ML245 loader bucket soon! Before I do though, I want to know how much should I reinforce the bucket first...

    Bucket Hooks  Bucket Hooks Question

This has probably been covered before and I'm sorry if it's repetitive but here's my question. What type and/or strength hooks should I have welded on top of my 6' bucket? Also, should I weld a solid 3"x72"x1/4"thick plate across the bucket first or can I get away with just a 2"x3"x1/4" thick...

    Question Concerning Loader Methods

Hello, I posted a couple of threads about getting a new tractor with a FEL. Having never owned or operated a FEL before, this weekend has been challenging to say the least. The manual doesn't have detailed instructions on using the FEL so I thought I would turn to the experts, You! I know common...

    My New 4530 Has Arrived!!!

The local Mahindra dealer delivered my new 4530 and picked up my 4505. This tractor is awesome! The seat with armrests is more comfortable, the deck has more room, and the matching aftermarket canopy is metal. I have a ton of reading tonight but at dawn, its on! Here are a few pictures of "TANK".

Bush hogging with FEL bucket attached

Hello everyone! Yesterday I said my new 4530 will be delivered Friday. I also said that I'd probably have some "how-to" questions seeing as I've never had a FEL before. My 4530 has the skid steer option for quick removal. As stupid as it seems, here is my question. After delivery, I have 15...

    Waiting on TGIF!

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie and would like to start out by saying I've owned a Mahindra 4505 for several years now. It's been a great tractor but I have traded it for a 2007 4530 with a FEL! It's being delivered this Friday and I can't wait! The reason I'm telling everyone this is because I've...
