Our containers here are 20 litres. I only put 18 litres in each when buying diesel. I find that I don't spill any and my GC will take all that's in the container without fear of overflowing.

Similar here. I had installed a drain in the preparation of pouring my concrete floor in the shop. The inspector told me an oil separator was required with a drain in a garage floor so I just cut off the top and eliminated the drain before pouring the concrete for the floor.

I have several 1990's Volvos without rust on the aluminum fenders, hoods and trunk lids/tailgates. One of them (1993) has some corrosion on the tailgate that I am told was caused by a poor ground from the tailgate to the steel body. Corrosion, but not even close to perforation.

My problem was with a 16 foot wide door where the ends shut OK but the centre was open. This could be adjusted with a brace across the top but the adjustment changes with the temperature.

FYI: When you use a jackshaft operator there is no bar pushing on the top of the door when closed. This can cause a very large gap between the door and the door frame at the top which is difficult to adjust. Not a problem for unheated buildings unless small critters decide to move in.

I've never had that happen either but did have all the bolts come loose on the axle hub on both sides of my F250 rear wheels. Came close to ruining both hubs. New OEM bolts and lots of thread locker. Been good since but I still keep an eye on them.

I bought new front tires on rims for a BX to put on my Massey GC2610 that cost less than any tires I could find. I expect to do the same for the rears even if they cost more as the material used to load them has caused very bad rust.
