    Measuring for box blade

I got a lead on a 60” Frontier BB5060, for under $501 without rippers, or a 60” Heavy duty atlas with rippers for 600$. 66” doesn’t seem to common in the used market. Not for those prices atleast.

    Measuring for box blade

I got my rotary cutter, found a deal on a 2022 RCR1260. Now I’m looking for a box blade. I read you want the box wider than the rear of tractor in order to cover tracks. I’ve seen a lot of 5’ box blades on Kioti CK2620’s. When I measure my rear tire width, from outside to outside, total width is...

    Old auger worth fixing up?

I have no clue who makes it. I’m getting the gear box cleaned off best I can today with a wire wheel. Maybe it will reveal something. 🤔🤔🤔

    Old auger worth fixing up?

***Update*** Got it broken down. Gearbox was full of water but luckily had enough oil in it where nothing rusted. Have the gearbox soaking in varsol while I go to work tonight. Looks like the bearings are all nice and tight. Just gonna replace the seals. Problably won’t even use gaskets, just...

    Old auger worth fixing up?

Buddy of mine just dropped this off, he was helping his boss move and he said if no one takes this it’s staying. He brought it to me. Gearbox seems ok. Rotates smoothly. It could use some new hitch pins and missing a yoke on tractor end. I’m handy and can weld. I was thinking about cleaning it...

    Land Pride Vs Ironcraft/Titan

Sorry, I should have said, it will mainly be used for tall grass and thick weeds in some areas. Not much saplings out there since we had it cleared and mulched.

    Land Pride Vs Ironcraft/Titan

I’m looking at a couple used practically new 5’ rotary cutters. Any thoughts between the Landpride RCR1260 and the 1025 Ironcraft. The Ironcraft looks beefier as far as the frame goes. also had my eye on a 5’ badboy but it’s brand new and is several hundred more. Looks awesome though.

    Frontier RC2060 question

I must have got lucky and got one made on a Friday. Or whoever this build was outsourced too, sucked!!! I need to put the rear chains on it, maybe I won’t notice it as much. But it definitely irritates me. I like things square and straight.

    Frontier RC2060 question

I was told about 10 years old but I’m not too sure. It had some rust in the corners where water sat I guess, I cleaned it all up, repainted, grease, oil, replaced all the bolts and nuts, even added washers between where the metal will rub kind of like bushings and reassembled. I know the deck...

    Frontier RC2060 question

I like the mower, but when I had it apart to repaint it, I noticed the deck is warped. The back left corner is kicked up. No evidence of it being hit and restraightened. Also the angle iron that runs from front to back is crooked and wavy. It’s like whoever build it didn’t have a square or...

    Frontier RC2060 question

thanks for the suggestions. It was just weird to me that the blades are about even with the bottom lip of the deck and not “up in there.” Seems like it would throw a lot of debris out the sides instead of the rear. I haven’t had a chance to get up to property to mow the fields yet, and when I do...

    Frontier RC2060 question

I noticed the manual said to measure the front of the cutter vs the rear to set the angle. But as far as cut height, are y’all measuring from the bottom of deck to the ground? It looks as if these blades are even with the bottom of the cutter. MAYBE 1/4” higher. Other cutters I’ve seen the...

    Rust killer/preventative

Awesome. So am I right with I need to cut my field with it to knock a lot of the rust off, kind of like using the loader knocks the rust off. Then rinse it off and spray this stuff to help protect it?

    Rust killer/preventative

Hello all. Is there a spray I can apply to the underside of my brush hog to neutralize the rust and kinda just help preserve it between uses. The person that had it before me let it sit for a while and I don’t want it to spread anymore. I’ll be storing it on blocks under a covered area when it’s...

Hello all, just realized the post I made in Attachments was my first post. I tried to login last night and was told I was blocked because of spam so I assumed I had more post. My mistake. I own a 2023 Kioti CK2620 with a FEL. We’re going to use it to help maintain our 10 acres we have in East...

    Frontier RC2060 quality question

Hello all. I bought a used Frontier RC2060 cutter for my tractor. It had some rust in the corners, so I disassembled it and repainted it, looks good now. When I had it apart I notice the back left corner was “kicked up” about a half inch. In other words when I set it on the floor it won’t sit...
