Please put your location in your profile! Live a season at your new place before attempting any drastic changes. One would need to drill various holes in the area to see where the water table is. If you have a high water table and you have no way to drain to daylight then you have little hope...

    B2920 bogs and stalls

If you get water in your fuel you can get ice slugs that clog the fuel line: this can readily happen in temps that aren't as low as JWR suggests is necessary for gelling. I had that happen on my Kioti: stupid fuel cap was letting in rain water!

Pretty much sounding like with Moss's glean showing the boats' weight to be about 34k lbs that that plus say 5k lbs for the trailer put the towed package at around that 38k lb mark. BUT, all is viewed as CGVW, and toss in say another 9k lbs for the truck and that CGVW is around 47k lbs! That...

Are surge brakes "built in?" [just looking to learn something from this thread :)] I don't have a boat, therefore no boat trailer, but I have a 12k lb utility trailer with 4wheel elec brakes and I've had a 12k lb dump trailer that had surge brakes. No trailer with both (would seem like a good...

If fuel was just over $4/gal back in 2008 (looking at the graph that was given above) then one need only use the adjusted value of a dollar per inflation statistics to understand what that fuel-to-dollar ratio would be in today's dollar. This valuation holds for ANYTHING priced in dollars. Go...

Is that an anchor on the bow in the pic? Doesn't seem like a very big anchor; if it's right-sized then it would seem that the boat might not be all that big*. At any rate, NO TRAILER BRAKES is most certainly the secondary cause (first is driver fault [for, of course, not ensuring proper...

4kW isn't likely going to work. If you're really off-grid then you most likely have a well, or pumps that require electrical power.
