Yup. But I also have fuel stabilizer that also removes water. Got the wife to try the wood splitter, ans she loved it! Can’t believe that I got a 20-ton log splitter from the dump, dropped off by a guy because he couldn’t get it started![emoji14]

Good news - the splitter is fixed, and the motor is running great! The problem was simply water in the gas. (it did not show up in the carb, so my friend did not investigate the gas tank, until later.) So, all's well that ends well. And thanks, guys, for all the suggestions. Merry Christmas...

Yup. Me too. I have no pavement to scratch, but I did have to put a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood down on the garage floor where I park the tractor. I personally would find surgery fascinating, but apparently they keep the OR quite cold, and make the nurses wear short sleeves. That’s all good for a kid that is lean and mean with not a speck of fat to keep her warm.

Took my Kubota BX25 in for service a couple weeks ago, and my dealer where I bought it has been expanding and getting bigger. Your last generator Maintenance Run

Wow, Drew, thanks for this. VERY interesting. I have the same generator as well, and I built a shed for it, but I like disguise ideas, and I think I can incorporate some of them into my shed. The big issue is heat dissipation, and I never thought of actually running a pipe for the exhaust...

I have a KING 5500/6500 that I bought quite a few years ago, and it has always started and run nicely, even if I leave old gas in it for quite a while.
