    SOLUTION. I ended up having an adapter machined to go to a typical 6 spline shaft. Then added a shear pin.

    I just found a serial number stamped on the staytube, 6375186. In one manual it had series numbers compared to serial numbers. So given that serial number I think it is a series IV. Correct me if I'm mistaken. See picture. Again thanks for all the help.

    Thank you. Yes I think it is the E50 because it has a 50" till width and over all width of 62". I wish the factory tag was still on it. Yes the gauge wheel is missing.

    Yes. The existing shaft on the tiller is 1.5".
