Four ply is better than my two ply for sure. I can't count how many times I've run thorns through them, spun them off the rims, etc... at least two of them (maybe three even) are tubed and slimed and I still get flats.

Har har!! :laughing: I love the machine. Don't like what I'm reading about the subees. If I had my druthers, I'd put in a clutch between the engine and hydraulic pumps. My guess is the subees would start fine with no load. :thumbsup:

I run around 10psi all the way around on my 425. As for the hour meter, if its working, you may actually have LESS hours than that, as I once left my key on for a few days and racked up 50hrs on the meter. :laughing:

I had some screeching when turning on my PT425. I could have sworn it was the steering valve. Took everything apart, cleaned, inspected, noise still there. Called Power Trac for suggestions. Terry told me to re-lube the steering rams! I thought he was mistaken, as the noise was definitely coming...

Take it to a remote corner of the property open everything up and hit it with a leaf blower for the initial cleaning. I've had great luck with Simple Green cleaner mixed 50-50 with water in a pump sprayer for an initial cleaning. Its biodegradable. Dawn is great stuff too, as J_J mentioned. Then...
