That tractor is not original paint, but is the same as the two my dad has. Both are Briggs powered. One is a 12hp, the other a 16hp.

Meg-Mo blades on anything but a zero turn are okay at best. I bought a set for my BX 60” deck. They never left a clean cut. They’d leave small windrows if cut grass. I don’t think the blade tip speed is high enough. After spending $150 on them, they don’t even look good hanging on my barn post.

Looking at my forks, I think the OP’s center pin in incorrectly located. It’s causing the curl past the point on return. Heres mine on Jery Dunn’s Q/A:

Just buy a piece of black pipe that sleeves in. 3/8” or 1/2”. Screw a cap on top. Screw a base mount flange to the base. Drill varying holes for height. Put in a clevis pin. Done.

I’m amazed at the quantity of tractors on the lot in that picture. Dealers in the Midwest are empty. And I mean empty. Zero. Zip. Nada. Size does not matter. That’s used or new.

If you go to Build n Price on Kubota’s website, and select a packaged BX, they don’t come up. If you build your own tractor and select options individually, you can select R14’s.

I ordered the set with rims. I’ll try them out. If satisfied. I’ll sell the turfs. Or, change them out seasonally.
