I understand about city temps. Downtown Houston, at 8pm, was always about 9-10 degrees warmer than my place. Once I would get out to Hobby, the temp was about 7-8 degrees warmer than my place. Where will your new place be? I remember you live near Wylie now. hugs, Brandi

Yep, warm and dry here too. Was 104 yesterday in Huntsville. Had to go 10 miles north of Huntsville, to pick up 4 new 16.9-28 rear tractor tires on new rims. I won the Big Iron bid at $1300. I needed two for the Mahindra and was quoted $1580 for tires, mounting and disposal. The new...

Tillers are hard on tubes. The tubes can spin too easily and pinch the valve stem. If you do use tubes, get the tubes with threaded stems so you can lock the tube in position with the nuts. I had to go that route on my zero turn mower for the same reasons. hugs, Brandi

    Compact telehandler

My local dealer has the compact loaders. They tried to use one of the compact loaders with forks on it to load a rental trencher on my trailer. The operator could not see the fork tips. Had to have another person direct him where to go to get under the trencher. I was so unimpressed, I...

It wasn't the fuel. After I got the sawmill back home, I finished the 50 hour servicing. This 50 hour had me looking at the alternator belt. Before I got the shrouds off.......................I saw pieces of the Woodmizer alternator belt and had enough slack to pull it down about 4 inches. It...

Bent bucket cyl on model 48 backhoe

Looking at the last two photos, it looked like the straps links or the "H" link are too long. But wrong bucket with the rod end out of the designed travel axis can do that. My Bradco backhoe buckets have 3 positions I can attach to. One is digging, one is for loading dumptrucks, and I forgot...

Got my sawmill back from the engine shop. Nothing found but lots of debris and some water in the tank. I had removed the sawmill's tank and flushed it out two weeks ago, so the debris and water was from one 5 gallon can. So my nice 116 gallon non metal fuel storage tank with a lid and pump...

I checked out a 105P. I liked what I saw, but not enough to have a payment or buy with cash.
