    A GREAT movie suggestion

Joe Pickett is an excellent, family-friendly series on Netflix. Joe is a park ranger with a family that has moved to a small town in Wyoming. The gist is that there is something wrong going on and Joe is the only one interested in finding out what is going on. Very well written with some...

Is country line stuff any good compared to land pride?

Yep. My oldest son can buy County Line, will do the maintenance, wash it after every use, and be very careful. My youngest will see an impenetrable obstacle and see it as a challenge. Not sure where the Op lies within those parameters, but all the information here should help.

Is country line stuff any good compared to land pride?

I think the answer lies with you. Frequency and severity of use will help you decide. County Line stuff is adequate if you are a part-time user who doesn't push the limits of the implement. If you are a high-frequency user who works your equipment hard, then maybe go bulletproof.

Something I don't understand about applications of below 40hp tractors

Nailed it. Most everyone worries about HP when starting out (me included) when weight should be the first consideration. When working raw land, clearance or lack of it can stop you no matter the HP or weight. Once you think through it, it makes all the sense in the world.

Something I don't understand about applications of below 40hp tractors

No idea what type or size of these trees but 20' away might be too close. Hire out the initial work and then work with a SCUT. Too many hidden treasures and roots have won that battle with bigger equipment. You might want to do some research here and learn from what others have experienced with...

Something I don't understand about applications of below 40hp tractors

I bought a 38 Hp which has served me well for its intended purpose. I have cleared almost an acre of densely wooded land. I paid to have the drainage and roads finished as well as areas cleared that were too steep for a tractor. Now, I am entering the landscaping phase using a bucket and...

That might be difficult to find someone with that experience but hopefully, someone comes along with an answer. Meantime, I would go shopping online for used tractors to see if a Max24 has a 25B on it. If so, you could contact the owner to learn more.

Why are hoses hard to connect???

Yes, stabilzing legs on backhoe. That was the last piece that I 'relaxed' for lack of a better term that expanded all the places oil could go. Towards the end, I also extended the bucket arms and backhoe arm as far they would go before settling them down on the ground. After shutting off...

Why are hoses hard to connect???

I solved the problem for me last week. I absolutely could not get one of the connectors for the grapple to budge. It took me 30 minutes but steps 3 and 4 solved it. 1st Try Lowering the FEL and the backhoe to the ground. Shut off the engine: Jogged both joysticks to completely relax the FEL...

    What is this?

My trail cam takes a picture at 3 pm just to verify it is working. Here is today's pic. Beginning at 6:31 this afternoon this popped up. It happened about 3 more times. Does anyone know what this is? I looks like a dome or air blast. I am stumped and hoping someone will say, " oh, it...

    I have a hydraulic leak

Thanks O for replying. Yes, i did tighten it as much as I thought I could. My main concern was teflon tape not being a good solution for this heat or this pressure so thought I would see what else would be better.

    I have a hydraulic leak

I have had a small leak at the oil filter seal for some time. Very slow and figured I would address it when I change the filter. But now I am seeing more oil on the ground. I traced the leak to what looks like a very small set screw (could be an NPT or some variant) that is near the bottom of...

I've been thinking about this as well. It seems that I need to drag along the entire shed with me when I do something. I leave a trail of tools it seems for even small projects. I want something on a small trailer that I can pull around with SXS and just roll it into the barn at day's end...

RV water heater - Propane Problem solved

RV water heater - Propane Problem solved

I took an electrical class for RVs in 2020. There are many iffy things that go on with RV manufacturers and they are not regulated like automobiles. Until recently. they promoted running a frig on propane while you traveled. That was a great selling tool for sales and marketing. It sounded...

My last vehicle sale was at his bank. I watched the teller hand him the money, who handed it to me. I signed the title and the teller notarized it. Everyone walked away knowing what they had was real. Certified checks are easier to fake than money.

Very interesting, indeed. I am guessing that drilling a round hole (bore) would have been much easier to machine than making a sphere perfectly round which allowed me to keep just a few steps behind you. ;) Sounds like what you are doing is working and will have it soon enough.

I agree. Gravity is your friend as is vibration. I would spray the heck out of it, flip it on the nose, tie it to the tractor and go for a drive. Find every bump and then retrace your steps. If you can think of something better to tap it or shake it, great- the tractor was the best I could...
