Yeager Pro has a whole series on trapping Hogs on YTube. Check it out pretty awesome. Also some good videos of folks hunting them at night with thermal scopes "Ultimate Night Vision" and wearing them out. Love to hear them squeal when they are hit!!!

DIY Stump Grinder - Possibly Using an Old Flywheel!?!

Yes, a properly adjusted slip clutch may mitigate the shock. I would not trust the Youtubers like Tractor time who are sponsored and make multiple six figure incomes from ytube advertising various implements. They can afford to buy a new 1024 or whatever when its fd up but the average user like...

DPF has pressue sensors, when the back pressure reaches a certain point it triggers a REGEN. Most tuners turn this off so no worries about excess heat, if you have a certain kind of tune that turns this function off, you will plug up the DPF pretty quick if it is still installed. Anyway...

DIY Stump Grinder - Possibly Using an Old Flywheel!?!

One thing comes to mind coming from a veteran Helicopter Mechanic/Crew Chief. Sudden stoppage. I have witnessed what happens to gearboxes when operating at full RPM and encounter a brief interruption as in the case of a turbine engine compressor stall. Think bang, bang at 100 percent RPM...

    Used tractor. Title?

Yes Cathey: I know now. But the basic UCC search doesn't list the collateral only the person has a lien on file. How many people are going to provide names etc when you first contact them. If they have a good price They will sell to the first person who shows up with the cash.

Rat and Pest (Mice) control in enclosed Structure

Opened the shed and found a few today. They ignored the green Tom Cat Bait. My Pointer (dog) caught one, Another Rat Is still on the loose. Fired up the Predator 3500. Shut the doors and let her run inside while I mowed my pasture. One hour of Carbon Monoxide (CO) should do the trick. :)

Bill: Please explain. Do you have experience with this product or are you just making a statement? If making a statement, I agree. I have sanded underside of the deck and applied Truck bed liner. Worked great for the stamped 54 inch deck. The Fabricated Cub deck not so much. Just trying to...

Instead of starting a new thread, I am going to revive this one. Anyway, after spending quite some time scraping off the accumulated dirt and clumped up grass from under my 50-inch and 54-inch Mower decks. (at least three times a season) I was thinking about trying out this EZ-Slide Graphite...

    Ideas for cannon ball extraction?

Another idea to loosen it up is to soak it down with strong apple cider vinegar. I had an old rusty pair of pliers. Soaked in vinegar for a week and all of the rust disappeared. Not sure if it will work with the PB Blaster though.

    Ideas for cannon ball extraction?

Gravity is your friend. If you have the equipment. sling it upside down and tap on it. I would at least try that. Come-Alongs are inexpensive but will get the job done. Even better if you have a loader or other lifting equipment. Like others have said. Sounds like a hold my beer Kodak moment. :)

Yes, I had one over the winter. Caught one. Seems like the little critters have come back with a vengance. Time to set it back up and also use the glue traps as suggested by Diggin-it. Agree, I need to seal the roll-up door. The concrete crew didn't get it level Seal has a gap. The shed is pretty sealed except for the eaves. I get frustrated because I see where they are chewing on the bait and yet I see one or two scurry around inside from time to time. I keep my Mowers...

Best way to clear small trees from pasture

I have a Pirana Bolt on Tooth bar for my 60-inch bucket. Does a pretty good job at tearing off small saplings and hedges and then back dragging to fill. It may take a while, but it is satisfying seat time on your tractor. Just a thought. Here is a pretty good demo and comparison video.

I think that most people, including me, get excited when they find a "good deal" and forgo the due diligence that they would normally use. It has nothing to do with MTD. It is a rebranded Yanmar Japanese tractor. Actually a updated John Deere 790. Don't comment if you do not have info that will contribute to this thread!!!!!

What happened to this poor thing!!!

While perusing sold auction prices for Cub/Yanmars ran across this listing. Sold back on Nov 2021 for $3300 then again in Mar 2022 for $3990.00. The tractor is broken at the rear of the Transmission. Trying to figure out what could have caused this? Fell off a trailer? Can't see overloading the...

Smaller rear tires to lower tractor ROPS so I can fit into my trailer when hauling

Yes, when Deere stopped having Yanmar build the 790s, They made a deal with Cub Cadet. This began in 2008 for the EX3200 and EX2900 From what I have read it is the same tractor, with mostly updated grille, headlights, and hood from what I can tell. Mine is Hydrostat 3 speeds. I cross-reference...

Smaller rear tires to lower tractor ROPS so I can fit into my trailer when hauling

I was looking at my ROPS attachment point. Three large bolts on each side mount to the frame. Not to hard to reach with a breaker bar and socket. I was looking at a Pic of a 790 and looks the same. Here is the PN for the ROPS, good luck finding one. Maybe a Yanmar dealer can get you one. Not...

Smaller rear tires to lower tractor ROPS so I can fit into my trailer when hauling

My sig tractor is a slightly modified JD 790. It has a folding ROPS. Not sure if the mounts are the same, but maybe you can change yours out or if not too much trouble, remove for transport. Battery impacts are awesome and fast. :)
