    Plowing County Road??

I would also go to your county Tax office and demand a revaluation to reduce the taxable value of your land by 20%/30%/pick-your-% since you are no longer getting services you are paying for. bring everyone who loves on your road with you.

    Good morning!!!!

The inflatables we got this year for Halloween and Thanksgiving all came with tie downs. the nylon cord is -ok-. . . The stakes are laughable. You’d really better off with the classic yellow plastic tent stakes, or even bushcrafting some wooden ones! feel better!

And to all my Italian friends: if you are not putting this stuff into the red stuff you put on your pasta, you are NOT making “gravy”: (I figured this is a good way to start a non-political Thanksgiving Dinner fight 😂🤣😂)

    Good morning!!!!

good Morning! God has granted us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly). We are officially in cold weather mode: yesterday I stuffed 1/2” backer Rod into all the gaps around the double doors out the deck. What a difference it makes! One of these years they need to...

If it's cold where you live, what are you heating with and what is it costing?

Our total monthly electric bill averages about $110/month. We have a 2-zone heat pump system, which we absolutely HATE heating with. Our primary heat once the weather gets COLD (as opposed to chilly) is a Woodstock Stove Co. Soapstone stove with hybrid air+catalytic burn that we installed just...

Sawmills, sawmill buildings, drying sheds, and kilns... show your pictures!

Poplar is the most common tree on our woodlot, followed by pines. there is one poplar I am eyeballing that could potentially supply most of not all the lumber I need to build my sawmill shed, I just need to clear enough to get to it with the tractor after felling. the poplars here are mostly...

Good Morning! I think I need a subsoiler, because I am clearing some badly-overgrown land with plenty of vine roots, brush roots, terr roots, roots roots and more roots. Plus rocks. I looked at the CountyLine Subsoiler from TS, but based on reviews, the weld quality is inconsistent. or, if I...

My directions say to first set the stop bolts for exactly one inch. Later, it says to set the blade rollers for 1/4” deflection downward. So I should be able to get a final, board of 3/4. However, Technical Hotline Dude said not to cut less than one inch. . . screw it - the blade just clears...

Looking for opinions re: chain stabilizers vs rigid tube stabilizers for lift arms.

Looking for opinions re: chain stabilizers vs rigid tube stabilizers for lift arms.

I need to put some stabilizers on my lift arms, because I had the frame of my 3pt dump bucket catching on the treads of my tire, and I really do not want to have to replace a tractor tire unnecessarily. what do you use, and why do you prefer it? thank you for any advice or tips!

I am starting to think that sawmilling is like cleaning fish: you catch a 20-pound fish and you land up with about 11 pounds of fillet. . . or less if you are not good at filleting
