I bought a 2019 Honda Pioneer 700 new. We test drove a Kawasaki and felt the Pioneer rode better. If you have the money just go for the Honda Pioneer 1000. My 700 tops out at 43 mph and gets noisy reaching that speed. But we mostly use ours around our property. The dump bed comes in handy.

Awesome. If they offer a relatively inexpensive emission delete system for my Kubota I will be doing the same. I did it with my 2014 F250 diesel and don't have to worry about regens or plastic DEF bottles.

I used the Equine discount back in March of 2021 and got 20% off of tractor and any options that I was able to add on the Kubota build page. Basically my MX5400 went from $37,500 to about $30K. You might be better off now to negotiate without trying to use the Equine discount.

I'm confused at the term "yearly property taxes" referring to tractors. You won't pay a one time tax on the purchase of a tractor if you have a farm (ag) exemption. If you insure your tractor through your homeowners insurance there will be a slight increase in your homeowners insurance.

Before you buy a skid steer rent one first to find out if it is appropriate for you tasks. I was thinking about buying one 4 yrs ago (~80K) and fortunately I rented one. Within 2 hrs I sunk the skid steer up to the tracks in mud. I hit a sink hole that I couldn't see.
