Is it possible the spindle is loose and worn to the point of jumping splines? Just my thought

I had a engine that the shear keyon rhe flywheel- crankshaft was off just a bit, enough to do the same, pull flywheel and check key. If it it has any inclination of looking offor worn on one side replace it. It affects the timing and is critical for some engines to run right.

Had mine rewelded and now better than new my machinist said the weld looked like a cold weld that was originally on the part bit he said i shouldnt have any problems with it now

Received a muffler from Farmall140 (Thank you VERY much Sir) But the unit would not fit. I had to modify it so i could install it on my 2425, but i think it turned out pretty well. Had to cut muffler off end then shorten the exhaust end about 3 inches, then rotated the muffler down 90 degrees...

Well my starter started acting up so i decided it was time to pull the engine and do the repairs i have been needing to do to my PT. My parking brake cables were getting to the point where they would not work properly so i am pulling them both out and servicing them by cleaning the cables...

I like the way you used the chain so the pull wouldnt be directly down on your lift bar, it took alot of downward pull off the bar that way and kept the bar from bending fron the weight. Smart.

Cut down a tree in my yard and used mt 2425 to hold tree sections as i cut them into small enough pieces to put into my smoker. Then used the stump grinder to get rid of the stump in my yard. A good days work .

I have the 25 hp Subaru in my 2425 and i put a hotter plug in mine also opened the gap in the psark plug up about 3 thousands more than it called for and it helped alot on my cold start issue. Will go back to cooler plug in the summer months.

You can put a 25 hp Subaru on it and make it a 2425 from a 2422 I have the 25 hp installed in mine

If you put tiller on the ground and back up it will usually dislodge the rock and you dont have to get up and down all the time ( ask me how i know) lol
