    Anyone plant with a HST?

Every year I plant about 30-40 acres of athletic fields with a Kubota Grand L6060 with a 6' planter on the 3 point hitch. And I plant in 2 directions. Imagine planting 30 acres with a 6 foot planter and you have to turn around every 300 feet. I would not want to do that without the HST.

Anyone bought a new Kubota lately?

I bought a new L6060 last August. I needed to have 2 rear remotes and none of the local dealers could tell me if, or when they could get the remotes. They had the tractor, but not the remotes. I contacted a large dealer in the Houston area and they delivered what I needed in about a week. I...

    Front wheel bearings failed L5740

Well.....I changed the right front bearings again today. This time, it had not completely failed, but I thought it was getting close. A few days ago I raised the front wheels and the right side was a bit loose, so I ordered bearings and seals for one side. When we removed everything, it was...

Been on generator for a day !!

They are putting a 2 lb meter. I did lots of research before buying or installing anything. The only other thing I will have on gas, is a stove I’m adding in my shop. Last hurricane here was Delta. Our power company lost power to 98% of their customers, but we never lost power at my house.

I am in the process of installing a 24k Generac to power my home and shop. We just ran 850' of 1" poly pipe for the natural gas. We should have the meter installed next week and will be able to to run the generator and test everything. I debated between going natural gas and butane. At first...

    Any bourbon aficionados here?

Years ago, a friend of a friend would go to a trail ride in Georgia about once a year. He would bring back some moonshine supposedly made by a 90 year old man. It was easily the best alcoholic beverage I have ever tasted. After the first taste, I would give him cash and tell him to bring me...

I like green onions too. I prefer shredded cheddar cheese. Recently I started adding a little sour cream on top of mine. Not sure if I will continue using the sour cream. I add a can of creamy red beans. The creamy beans will thicken it up, but you don't notice the beans as much as other...

There are significant differences, and many similarities. The 6060 does not have a clutch pedal and the brakes are on the left side. This makes it a lot easier to use the brakes to assist with turning, which I do often. The 6060 has a 'common rail' fuel system, which has some advantages, and...
