Noticeable, regular "lurch" felt on smooth roads.

Agreed. Re-torquing wheel and rim bolts is part of PDI procedure for most manufacturers but few dealers do it. Those that do simply run over bolts with a large impact wrench rendering it very difficult to loosen nuts in the future. Neighbor needed to buy new wheel center for Mahindra due to...

Been sitting for awhile? Flat spot in tire(s).

Dual element filtration. How much dust gets past? Yup…

Oil bath air filters are about as good as intake filters get but they are expensive, bulky, heavy and routine maintenance is more time consuming than simply swaping a paper element. The automotive industry used oil bath air filters until the late 50s, 58 for GM. Changeover to paper filters was...

Dual element filtration. How much dust gets past? Yup…

Perfectly adequate for intended purpose. For decades, IC engines had little or no intake filtration of any kind.

    Kubota New Pricing

There is a discount for cash buyers, which is why 0% is not really 0%. There is no free lunch.

Actually, it isn't. One must buy down the interest rate.

    LX3310 1st Regen

Of course they will. The federales are relentless. No matter what they impose it will NEVER be enough.

    LX3310 1st Regen

Not surprising, especially first regen in cold weather. I always push the inhibit button when starting a brief task and when nearing completion of other tasks. Regens have the habit of beginning when I am heading for the barn.

    Not happy with Kubota Credit...

I pay nearly all bills electronically on the day before due date unless weekend/holidays dictate earlier. Never wait until due date. Local water company is small and bank does not have electronic relationship with company so sends check by mail. Did not know this for some time so now schedule...

Kubota Grand L6060 and '60 Series Winterfront Covers

Interesting. I did not know that such accessories were available for any Kubota tractors aside from the B3350 which needs one in cold weather due to the reformer. The cold weather package for my B3350 was supplied without charge by Kubota under (unannounced) warranty. So far, I have been able...

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Could, but very dangerous on heavily traveled main roads. Did drive 52 8N to/from a couple of years ago on back roads. With Sherman combo in 4th/Hi range, tractor would go a bit over 20 MPH. Not too dangerous aside from half mile or so between back road connection and dealer on 4 lane. Had...

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Oftentimes, max front tire sizes are determined by interference issues with frame/FEL components at full lock and full axle oscillation. Manufacturers do not wish to have warranty claims from outliers who choose option, adjustment preferences. FWIW, during home PDI, I always check (and usually...

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Bingo. Absolutely no negotiation regarding delivery from my dealer. Yes, they will re-write invoice so as to hide delivery within PDI, etc., but profit center billing demands shop gets paid for delivery. Well aware that all businesses are such so as to make money for the owners. As recently...

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Sorry. Needed internal shaft to mount mid PTO without splitting tractor to install such shaft standard equipment on cab versions but not ROPS models. Accordingly, mid PTO easily installed after purchase on cab models but not ROPS models, which require split. Sorry for the confusion.

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Wish I lived where you live. My dealer is 4 miles away and will not deliver a new tractor to me without charging $135/Hr from the time the driver picks up the truck keys to the time when he puts them back on the nail. Next closest dealer, about 30 miles also charges for delivery of new...

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

Agreed. Mid PTO optional on all models but internal shaft needed to easily install mid PTO standard on cab models but not ROPS models. Accordingly, split needed to install mid PTO on ROPS models (unless optional internal shaft ordered at time of order from factory) but not on cab models.

    New Kubota Tractor Purchase

The MX has become popular with dealers vis a vis the GL because it is less expensive and easier to sell. The availability of a cab on the MX6000 sweetened the pot making the L6060 cab version a tough sell to many folks. That said, you cannot trust what salesman tell you and must do your own...

Tires New 2022 M7060HD12 transmission issues

It's a 2 range 6 speed synchro with hydraulic shuttle, same as in my M9960. Being gear drive, it is not possible for ratios to change within a single gear selection.

Gasoline Tractors are they coming Back ?

I have been predicting the return of gasoline engines to the small/mid sized tractor market for several years. The federales have seriously damaged the light truck diesel market as well as the farm tractor market with nonsensical regulations and will continue to do so. Presently, the...

Bingo. Yet another reason why I do not use liquid ballast. Cast iron can be added/removed as need indicates.

    From mow to snow.

Bingo, which is why I stated cleared paved surfaces. B1750 would not pull car into barn with chains installed and on concrete surface. Parked the tractor and pushed it in by hand.
  30. S

    From mow to snow.

On can do serious damage to asphalt (even concrete) with chains. I use HD 2 link twist ladder chains which cause little damage assuminig common sense. V-bar and other aggressive chain types can do real damage in short order.

    New LX3310

My 2018 model has been fine for the last two years since the reformer, DPF, etc. was replaced. Prior to that, other things, e.g., firmware updates, etc. were done to little effect. Was told that total work done to mine would have been around $10K had it not been covered by warranty, and this...

Not independent. Neither gear or HST.

    Carry All Attachment

Nice, well-made HD unit. My carry-all is my most used tool. So important to me that it is mounted on a dedicated tractor and never comes off. Tractor and carry-all serve as my quad. I actually sold my 2017 RTVX1100C with 11 hours on it after 4 years (for $2K more than I paid for it) because I...

    From mow to snow.

I remove/service mowers from all of my tractors once each fall before servicing the tractors and installing FELs. The B1750 gets a back blade and F & R chains. The B3350 gets a front blade, ballast box and sometimes F & R chains. M9960 and L6060 get FELs only. Cast iron stays on year-around...

    Grand L6060 2 year review

I seriously considered the 4066 before buying my L6060. 4066 also has EPTO which I wanted but R4 tires only available with one piece, non adjustable (aside from side-to-side) rear wheels. Deal breaker was arrogance and general unhelpfullness of JD dealer.

TractorData.com data incorrect for Kubota B2650 or L3901?

My statement above claimed only that tractorda.com cannot be trusted. At no time did I state that it was not useful for any purpose. TractorData.com data incorrect for Kubota B2650 or L3901?

Perhaps, but accurate. Don't remember stating that I am aware of any other websites or databases that have better, more comprehensiveand trustworthy collections of tractor data, but The NE tractor tests are the gold standard. No, Kubota does not submit tractors to NE for testing. I reference...

Where to buy rear suitcase weights for L3560

Like most components, Kubota does not manufacture their own weights. RFQs are sent to multiple foundrys, and suppliers change from time to time. I have bought weights directly from Kubota and also from North States, a manufacturer which makes weights for both manufacturers and for sale directly...

    LX3310 4 cylinder engine

Bingo. Balance shafts are few and far between in tractor engines.
  47. S

    LX3310 4 cylinder engine

Agreed. Absolutely love my L6060 ROPS model (cannot use cab models due to routine driving around and beneath trees). Only complaint that I have is the vulnerability of the third function hydraulic hoses beneath the tractor and behind the right front tire.
  48. S

    LX3310 4 cylinder engine

Yes, the small 4 cylinder diesel enginie has a high idle, probably due to the short stroke. Yes, HST whine is annoying, much more so in cab versions. HST whine is not objectionable in my B3350 ROPS model and almost non existant in my L6060 ROPS model. Gear whine from my M9960 12X12 hydraulic...
