Yes, the M specs are Massey specs. Are you a long distance from your dealer? Avoid any of those off brand oils that you find at farm stores. If you cant get Agco oil, check out shell.

GM completely abandoned Bosch, went with Denso. Bosch is part of the problem, zero help from them. Ram is far from perfect, a friend has 2 19 Ram hd with the CP4, but because they are not listed in that, they are Customer Pay.

I have always done a spill/filter & fill every other year. I have never had a trans issue. Traded off an 04 GMC 1500 crew with 217,000 miles on it, original drivetrain. Fluids are cheap insurance. Brake fluid, coolant, all oils are done on a schedule.

The seats in this Colorado are horrible, by far the worst ever that I have sat on. Mechanically the truck has been flawless, happy with it. I had the dealer do a trans service May 2021, will do it again next summer. The M1 fluid (8L45) is not cheap at $33/L, but still cheaper than the Mopar...

I will add a tonneau cover, and lay a 2x10 behind the wheel wells in the box. Groceries go in the box, always have.

Im not buying new, hsve no issues with getting a 6.2. Far more choices with the 6.2 compared to the 7.3. I do not want a Crew cab, super cab is what I am looking for.

The 6.8 is now the base engine, the 6.2 is gonw. The 7.3 is optional.

That is one advantage to me, the aluminum body. The chassis will get sprayed with Black fluid film.

The Ford coil packs are super dependable, avoid aftermarket garbage. Thats why I am staying 2017 and newer.

The FSuperduty refers to the F250 and bigger. That truck is super clean though, but looking newer.

Curious about the 6.2 Gasser in the Ford Superduty trucks. Don't hear too many complaints on reliability of them, which is a good thing. Next truck will be getting back in to a fullsize, would like a gas HD 4x4. For those that run an F Superduty with the 6,2, would love to hear your review on...

They are fine for on highway pulling, but not for any off highway work or snow removal. I'd go Ram 2500 Hemi, or F250 7.3.

Yeah, the 1500 6 speed had torque converter issues. Get your fluid changed, keep it on a regular schedule.

As is the 8 speed in my Colorado. The 6 speed was severely problematic.

Power steering fluid - great air tool oil.

The 150,000 miles is when the wet belt needs replacing, not the life of the engine. I would not have an issue owning one.

I run synthetic grease like shell, Amsoil or the like.

Congrats. I priced out a 2wd 5045E tractor, could be a purchase in the new future. Here is a 5055E service video, shows grease points too.

I agree completely. We need to add the terms motor when talking about the internal combustion engine, and chip when talking about programmers/tunes to the list.
