    Good morning!!!!

80 outside right now, heading to just a tad below 90. Welcomed wife back from trip last night, seeing her off in a few again. Medical issues with family members. I'll be intermittently visiting here for the next month or so. I have the fort to hold down and full time jobs that need attention...

    Good morning!!!!

Sorry to hear about that stress level. Always have a backup plan to the backup plan. Pays to keep in touch with old coworkers. Good luck to you. I am sure it wears on you, and management seems to forget about the trust level. An old saying "...the beatings will continue until moral improves..."

    Concrete sealer recommendations

100 year old concrete. Sealing just to keep the dust down. It is an old Milk House, looks to have a very smooth finish coat. I am in the process of washing it down with a sponge just to "clean" it further. Occasional foot traffic only. No equipment or animals will utilize the space.

Keep current truck forever or try to afford a new one every 5-10 years?

The older I get, I like the functionality and features of the new trucks. I also like the turn key and go aspects of newer vehicles. Just don't have the time, nor the tools, nor do I want to invest in either, maintaining stuff anymore. Just changed out a truck tire on the 1500 the other day...

    Carpenter Bees ...

I have whacked seven of them in the past three days. Light wood, dark wood, pine, oak, painted or not....makes no difference to the ones I have here. I sprayed wd40 into a few holes this AM. And have the racket handy by the door. LOL.

Tell us something we don’t know.

East Moriches. At a time where one could walk to the bay. If you could get past the smell of the duck farms. Mussels and oysters, with hot sauce on the boat for oysters. And my grandfather shucking and slurping when we got home.

    Fighting 'Solar Farm' Installation

Just got public notice on a 500 acre proposed Solar Farm 2 miles down the road from me AND a 66 acre proposed data center (1.4m sq ft) 1 mile up the road. LOL. Neither will serve my community. Both sit on "good farmland". Both have infrastructure tie in. Although the datacenter may need a...

    Good morning!!!!

Doubt that, the foxes gorge themselves on my neighbors eggs and chickens. Very rare to see them in the back forty. LOL. I have "city folk" that moved here a few years back. I hear them rebuilding their coops and fence lines.....every other day. LOL.

    Good morning!!!!

46 outside this AM, heading to upper 80's. Need another coat of paint on the Milk House. The concrete is really sucking it in. I did not manage to get out yesterday, so today is definitely a shopping day. Fox kept me up most of the night, right outside the bedroom window. Also on the nature...

47 outside right now, heading to lower 80's today. Spent the day yesterday with the weed whacker. It's like a two day job. Fighting 'Solar Farm' Installation

China is in economic decline. I imagine in two to three years, India will be the number one producer of solar kit. As far as a New World Order, it has always been about the United States of America, and its allies. Everything else is nonsensical.

How are the getting the power into the "system" will new lines and a substation have to be built? That's the biggest issue we face here. Fighting 'Solar Farm' Installation

Around these parts the "losing valuable farm land" argument makes me cringe. No one that I know of buys farms to farm. Most farmers are elderly and looking for a way out because even their family members have moved on to other occupations. These land tracts that are up for solar development...
