Tractor Colors~ What Would You Pick?

    Removing poly twine from fields

It is due to lazy uncaring a-hole farmers who cant be bothered to remove twine from the bales when feeding. I bought a 1800 acre ranch , twine troughout the place, its everywhere but the worst was in the old corrals, manure 5' deep and more twine than one could throw a stick at. After 3 loads...

    Crimping hydraulic hoses at home?

These twist on fittings are as old as the world, i use them too if need be. Fast and easy even out in the field . Use and reuse, a hell of a lot cheaper and faster than driving to town to get an whole new hose made up. But i guess in this day and age of wasting resources people rather fill the...

    death of regular cab pickups

Thank the Lord for the extended cab, it is great to have room for stuff that has to stay out of the weather and a gods end to be able take passengers at times instead of having to have half a fleet to accommodate them. I often have people over that want to take a tour of my bison ranch, the...

Farming those big acreages looks more like assembly line work, days on end back and forth back and forth,.. boring beyond belief. BTDT til i bought my own place. i prefer a smaller mixed farm/ranch that i can do all by my lonesome free as a bird to do as i want how i want versus being a slave...

Tractor vs Skid Steer Loader Specs

I don't agree with you there. I have used both my 74 and 105 HP tractors with frontend loaders to feed many thousands of big round hay bales weighing up to 1700 lbs and often 2 1200-1300 lb at the same time for 35 + years with no ill effect on the front axle.

Tractor vs Skid Steer Loader Specs

I would use an compact articulated loader before i would consider using a skid steer ( i have both) Wheels are more forgiving in softer ground than a skid steer and these loaders are more maneuverable .One can also get in and out of the cab at any loader position were as in a skid steer the...
