    Fighting 'Solar Farm' Installation

Last year, Facebook corp (Meta, whatever) installed solar panels on probably hundreds of acres south of metro Atlanta in a rural county. The problem was cutting and spraying the grass below and around the panels would be a huge undertaking. So they, along with some other agency solved the...

    MF 135 won't lift

UPDATE: I removed the top lid and put it upside down on the bench to work on the linkage (hydraulic pump was not the problem). Basically replaced a couple parts (draft control spring, draft rod, large draft spring assembly). The levers that are moved by the quadrant control were out of position...

    MF 135 won't lift

Also lokester, here are some images from the MF-27 Shop Manual (purchased from local Tractor Supply) that may be helpful for your question about arm setting while making adjustments. I think you're correct using the block, but this has more info about that too. Hope this helps.

    MF 135 won't lift

Thanks for the replies lokester. Update: I have removed the top with lift arms and have it upside down on my bench. Right away I see the draft spring has somehow been pulled part way off and the draft rod has been bent. So I'm obviously replacing those. I don't see any other damaged parts or...

MF 135 only lift if pushing on draft control rod

I have not tested pushing the draft but will try it to see what happens. Mine is a 3 speed hi and lo as well. An online MD 135 manual indicates that pressure control is optional which I guess is why I don’t have those parts. I cannot locate the SN and have looked all over. I’ll reread the shop...

MF 135 only lift if pushing on draft control rod

I removed the side cover to see if an adjustment can be made. What is there looks different from the MF Shop Manual image (photos attached of both). Mine is missing the Control Diaphram (C) and Pressure Control Screw (P). I don't know if anything can be adjusted here or if I need to pull the top...

MF 135 only lift if pushing on draft control rod

Thanks jaxs. Adjusting those fingers and that washer with offset hole is my next step. I've heard same thing - manual says you can adjust through the side opening but in reality impossible, meaning I'll have to pull the top off to adjust it. I did have the thought about putting a bushing or...

Thanks Dmacleo I'll check out that post/thread.

MF 135 only lift if pushing on draft control rod

Thanks JWR for your reply. The draft control knob has to be pulled all the way up (towards the back of the tractor) for the lift to work. In that position, the draft control rod I described sticks out about 1/2" (hard to see, viewing down the draft spring shaft under the seat) and I can push it...

    MF 135 won't lift

MF 135 - arms won't lift. Only will lift if I put position and draft controls fully up position, then (with draft control spring removed) reach in with a rod and push on the end of the draft control rod. Arms will raise then when I release the pressure on the rod, the arms lower. I replaced the...
