    power tool recommendation

The engines will all outlast the pumps. You have to spend real money to get a pump that will last. I always hook mine up to the water supply and squeeze the trigger until water flows continuously to be sure that the pump is full of water. And I bring it in to the basement when it approaches...

    1020 gas electrical problem

This might sound stupid, but my tractor will not start if I've nudged the PTO control off its nuetral/detent.

Today, would you buy an EV vehicle.

I have one, and our other is a PHEV. I also still have an old F150 I use almost never. EVs are terrible for towing. Otherwise, they're fantastic. Anyone that has two cars... One should be an EV. If you can live with 200 miles in a day, you can charge entirely at home. Gas stations aren't going...

    Would You Loan It Out?

Comes a point where you have to say "this isn't what I agreed to. Go rent a tiller." I'll lend my loader to my neighbor because he has supplied me with a ton of firewood. I'll go move stuff for the older man across the street, and I clear his driveway in the winter. But this guy is just taking...

    Cleaning Up Substantial Yard Debris

Yep. I was going to suggest mounting a large magnet like a sickle bar somehow so he could capture the next-row-over before he mows it. Fewer punctures that way.

    Bolt Size Help

Even then it can be a little difficult. Seems like there are metric sizes that are very hard to find here.

    Sub-Compact/Compact Recommendations

This might not be the most important reply, especially if you know equipment, but I bought a really nice NH TC24DA from a neighbor moving to a smaller place. It's too big. Can't get through most of my gates, is cumbersome to mow with, and does un-necessary damage to the lawn. Great tractor...

Trying to remove 50 inch oak tree stump with Bobcat backhoe. Struggling

Could you cut it below grade at this point? Or rip it down into sections you can try to pull of with your excavator? Might not get all of it, but I'd you get enough of it to bury the rest...

Kubota B4200 front knuckle grease points

I recently purchased a Kubota B4200 4WD. It looks very much like the B5100/6100/7100 tractors. There are grease points on top of the front wheel steering "knuckles" (not sure what to call them). Seems like I can pump a lot of grease into them without seeing any coming out the seals around the...

    Carbon Dioxide

Overall, modern equipment burns much cleaner. There are just so damned many people out there burning fossil fuels now. Gonna be hard to keep something catastrophic from happening.

TC24DA and 12LA loader - how do I detach it?

I bought a New Holland TC24DA with a 12LA loader from a neighbor that was moving. It has just one support arm for detaching the loader. I did not get a manual with it, and I cannot figure out how to detach it. Any ideas? Or any idea where I can find a manual that describes it? Thank you.
