Buying Advice CX 2510 or CK2510 (Maybe B2301)

The tractor CX2510 is working good, it was purchased to blow snow. As a first time tractor owner I am getting use to it, got it stuck once by going over the edge of the paved driveway (6 inch drop) and I got it out without even using the diff lock. I grooved the front tires for better traction...

    Tractor with cab for snowblowing

Nice setup, I just purchased a MK martin 60 inch inverted blower for my Kioti CX2510 at the end of season so have not had a chance to use it. I have ordered the Tivar scraper blade from MK martin as I have a paved driveway. How do you find the blower , can you tell it is behind you? Any weird...

Buying Advice CX 2510 or CK2510 (Maybe B2301)

I was at the dealer yesterday buying a ballast box and all the tractors are sold, he had about 4 CX2510's on the lot that were sold and he said they are very popular. He is expecting a $2-$3K price jump across the tractor lines very shortly as productions costs are rising so if you find one you...

    Beavers !!!!!!!!

Some people like them and some hate them, I like them but they do cause havoc with water ways. We have only seen one beaver in our 4 acre pond this year and I had to go down and fix a breach in the dam to keep the water level in the pond up. I think my neighbor (who hates beavers) has eliminated...

    Jacking up a Tractor Question

You have made a good point that I never thought about in that both wheels probably have to be off the ground to be able to turn a wheel manually. I will just move the tractor rather then try jacking it up when I start the tire grooving job. Thanks to all who shared their knowledge with a...

    Jacking up a Tractor Question

There are lots of discussion on TB about grooving and the consensus I arrived at is that it will help with improved traction on snow but not much better on ice. I purchased a MK Martin Meteor 60" pull type snowblower (500 lbs) and I have a hill in the driveway so I may need the improved traction...

    Jacking up a Tractor Question

Hello I am new to tractors, I just purchased a Kioti CX2510 and I am thinking of grooving the R4 tires for better winter traction. (I can't use chains or studs on the paved driveway). I would like to be able to jack up each tire separately when I come to groove that tire. Where do I put my 2 1/2...

    PTO Driveline Install

I hope you come up with something as have a problem getting the snow blower PTO connected and could use a 3rd arm. The dealer says it is because the tractor and blower are new, he says it will get easier the more you use it and keep it greased. I found to use bungie cords to keep the PTO shaft...

    New Kioti Leaking Oil.

Sorry to hear of your issue so soon, it is maddening to say the least, all you can do is call the dealer monday morning and explain the issue, if dealer is good he will be right on it. You should be getting a Kioti dealer survey with in a week or so, you may want to mention to the dealer that if...

Premix vs gas station 2 stroke

My local out door equipment provider provides an excellent document outlining the reason for being careful about fuels and durations, below is a snippet from there web site. Other things in the document (which I can't find at the moment) recommends if you are using Premium fuel (with no ethanol)...

Premix vs gas station 2 stroke

I swear by the Pre-mixed fuels for my chainsaws (husqvarna ), never noticed the smell difference but the stuff is 95 octane. It is expensive stuff, suppose to have a long shelf life which is important to me. My dealer says that husqvarna will extend the warranty on their chainsaws to 5 years...

Buying Advice CX 2510 or CK2510 (Maybe B2301)

I am located in Ontario. I just bought a 2021 Kioti CX2510MB (Manual transmission) paid $21K Cdn Plus tax this included the KL2510C FEL, block heater, two rear remotes and R4 tires. I did not take the 0% financing option so the FEL was included in the price. I also purchased a Meteor 60 inch...

    Need Advice

It does seem you can always spent another $2k more and get the next level up. I am from Canada and just bought a CX2510MB (Manual transmission), which is smaller then the CK2610 but same engine I believe. I did not take the 0% financing so I ended up with a FEL (KL2510C) included, plus block...

    Beavers !!!!!!!!

I like the beavers as they are responsible for the 4 acre pond on my property and I hope they don't abandon their lodge as they keep the dam maintained. I get a kick out out watching how they follow their routine each day, about 6 pm you see them returning to the lodge, then you see the night...

    Beavers !!!!!!!!

Back in the 40's or 50's Canada gave Chile or Argentina a bunch of beavers in a goodwill exchange, a few years ago I read an article about some village in the mountains got flooded due to a large beaver dam breaking lose up stream of the village. They were cursing the Canadian's for giving...

    Beavers !!!!!!!!

Wow they let you play with Dynamite !! It is amazing how a relatively small animal can take down a 14 inch diameter hardwood tree in a matter of days. I would be more afraid of getting bitten by a beaver then a gator, but that is easy for me to say as we don't have gator's in Canada :)

John Deere rep going to take tractor

When I was shopping around for my first tractor I did find the JD dealer a little shy on facts and time, given the Covid restrictions in the area we could only communicate over the phone and he indicated that perhaps he could email me a quote sometime next week but I could come down a look at...

    Beavers !!!!!!!!

When beavers starting plugging up a culvert pipe I put a solar spot light pointing at the area, they didn't like the light and stopped plugging up the culvert. Worked well for me and they moved on to my neighbors, he has a different way of making sure they don't come back :)
