This is a super el-cheap-o JD LA series with a cable operated drive belt tensioner. So no electric PTO on the crank, just a solid fixed pully with...

JD 270 Series II skid steer?

A buddy of mine has a JD 270 Series 2 (8500 lb tire machine) with just over 400 hours sitting in his barn. He has a new set of over the tire tracks and a 8 to 11 foot extend-a-hoe for it. He wants $12k for the whole set up. I've looked and saw that the original 200 skid steers were described...

On the way to pick up a Nissan that tossed a rod through the oil pan I can across this VW with some $5 ratchet straps placed semi loosely at the rear in an x pattern. I would call this towing wrong. My 4 tire basket ratchets on the Nissan are what I call good. Each rated 3300 lb work, 10,000...

    Just another junk chainsaw

Is it really a beast to pull start? I'm wondering if something may be wrong with this saw.

    Just another junk chainsaw

What would this 034 AV Super be worth to sell today, starts and runs. Very hard to pull, compression is ridiculous and half the time ripped the rope out of my hand while pulling. But if you are man enough, it starts and cuts wood.

Insurance for personal cargo trailer - what's good?

You'll need to call your car insurance agent and discuss part of what you ask for. When attached to your car or truck the liability to others is automatically extended to the trailer. But... if you turn and bite a tree/pole with it and damage or destroy the trailer.... not covered. You need to...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Note that I bought the Harbor Freight 3/8" Earthquake ratchet. I did a couple small jobs (intake manifold gaskets, installed some accessories, but infrequently used over a 2 year period. Went to use it last week and ripped the head gear smooth. Junk. Can't buy a head insert like you would...

Should I replace my 2" trailer hitch?

Don't you have an adjustment nut under it that you can tweak?

That's not over size or over weight for a HiLux. Whistling Diesel (YouTube content creator) proved that the HiLux can only die after he drops it 10K feet from a helicopter. He actually couldn't kill that truck.

The B2650 count down has begun!

The upper driveway ended with sharp slopes right at the edges of the blacktop you see. Where the 2 trailers are out at the end of the driveway was a very deep and steep valley with severe water erosion, those trailers are 20-30 feet over the old V shaped cut between me and my neighbor. Also...

The B2650 count down has begun!

Trying again from a PC since tapatalk on my phone does not like me uploading pics to this particular forum. Note that 3 years ago you barely fit a truck between the wall and the steep embankment going dow to the lower drive, and the lower drive in front of the garages was just enough space to...

The B2650 count down has begun!

3 years has past. Over 800 engine hours have also past. The B2650 had been a total beast for 3 years doing work that was often above its pay grade. But looking here you'll note the old asphalt drive and you'll note the fill I've taken and worked. I've had many thousands of trucks. I've filled...

Trailer (ST rated) Tires Cracking on Inside Edge

The words of an amateur who knows only the things he reads online. Go put a proper rated LT by a reputable company like the BFG KO2 on and you'll have to try to invent new ways to blow tires.
