    Trailer Lights Gurus--Got a Question.

Bear in mind again that there is no power to the 4pin trailer connector UNLESS the pickup lights are ON. The trailer lights all work perfectly then. Nothing can work if there is no power. The issue has to be in the pickup wiring, right?

But the blinkers and hazards etc should work even if the pickup lights are off. (Ignition on) Right?

    Trailer Lights Gurus--Got a Question.

I think with all comments and things considered, the issue is no power to the trailer unless pickup lights are on. The brown wire in the pickup's trailer connector will not show 12 volts unless the pickup lights are turned on. I'm thinking now that the issue is the aftermarket trailer light...

    Trailer Lights Gurus--Got a Question.

The ground seems to be good. It's a 4pin connector and everything works correctly as long as, at least, the "park" lights" are on. I'm wondering if the light designer/manufacturer is "assuming" that no one still drives a pickup with manual lights, (My wife tells me about all the things...

    R14 Tire Durability

Yes, as mudking alludes, better check the rolling radius of the old and the new fronts. Edit: The stiff skid steer tires might make your tractor front end bounce like a lumber wagon? Edit II: Might stay with R14's and not drive over fence post stubs. Sorry :)

    Clutch Slip Confirmation

The trick is to apply just enough spring pressure that it will slip if it has to in order to protect the drive line but not slip in normal conditions. That sometimes requires a little bit of trial and error and readjustment of the spring bolts.

    Clutch Slip Confirmation

I think that would be a safe assumption but might suggest looking at the owners manual online for some other brands of rotary cutters. See what they recommend as a procedure for adjusting the clutch springs.

I'm envious of that "15% humidity max". We start off each summer day with about 85% and may get down to 35% in the afternoon if we're lucky. The lawn is always wet in the morning but the moisture evaporates rather quickly when the sun and breeze (if we're lucky" hits it.

Lawn Irrigation Water Damaging Trees and Shrubs?

Applying an inch of moisture to 20K sqft requires 12,500 gallons of water. The well puts out about 10 GPM or 600 GPH so takes about 20 hours to put down that inch of moisture. Two times a week with six zones and forty minutes per zone would be 480 minutes which, at 10 gallons/minute would be...

I think the reason a foot valve was not installed was to prevent pipe freezing during the winter. Lawn Irrigation Water Damaging Trees and Shrubs?

The submersible pump in the well has no foot valve, (check valve) so every time it shuts off there is a siphoning action that draws water that is still in the system pipes back down into the well. This also sucks any sediment that the filter has collected back down into the well. This is...

How the heck do you guys torque a cylinder nut to 600 ft lb? Rebuilding Bobcat combo bucket cylinder.

What is this Pin Called and Why is it Loose?

Does the mower have the swivel type hitch/drawbar on it that will rotate to allow lateral tilt? How the heck do you guys torque a cylinder nut to 600 ft lb? Rebuilding Bobcat combo bucket cylinder.

I'm amazed that this setup works but it apparently does. Seems like the torque wrench needs to be measuring "force" instead of "torque" applied to the outer end of the extension lever. I guess torque is the same as force in this case, I'm just not "seeing it".
