We were all forced to pay to bailout GM and Chrysler in 2009 as well as farm subsidies. As well as subsidizing the war in Ukraine and making a few families over there very wealthy. You still have a choice of the car you want to buy. There are no mandates at this point that I know of.

I mow every 2 weeks in the peak of summer. After that once mulching starts I will mulch every time the leaves drop to keep ahead of it but I'm only mulching a small section around the house. If I mowed twice as often I would go through more blades and obviously use more gas. Out in the...

Come mow my 4 acres and let see how long your blades last. :) Blades are cheap off of Amazon and are sharp when I get them. I have a metal pile that gets removed about every 4 years.

Z930R - Zero Turn Purchase - Comments and Rules of Thumb?

Because after I mow 4 acres my blades get nicked and pitted after about 4 mows. Not worth sharpening and trying to get it balanced properly with material missing from the blade.

Tesla does have 10 yrs of production and design over the other EV brand cars. If I was Ford, GM, etc I would reverse engineer the Tesla instead of starting 10 yrs behind. I believe Elon Musk said he was willing to share technology to other automakers if that increase EV ownership.

And your point? I bought F250 back in 2018 and my Mazda 3 in 2019. I bought my GM Bolt EV in 2022 and my Tesla Y in 2023. The buying experience with Tesla, including getting a loan at rate equivalent to my credit union, was non stressful and took less than 30 minutes.

No more excuses of "There's no where to charge on a trip". ;) My electric rate is .13 cents/kWh. Doesn't fluctuate like fuel prices and I can charge at home. Really is a no brainer to own an EV, IF you can charge at home.

Define "hit the worst"? Right now it's cheaper to operate my EV (excluding my monthly car note) than my F250 diesel by a long shot. Based on new car prices my Model Y was a no brainer given that I received $10K in fed and state incentives.
