    TODAY'S GUN TIME

Yep lots of deer wandering through our property day and night. A few coyotes but hard to spot them... very shy. Also a bear once a year or three.. not shy. Smaller critters like fox and mountain beaver. Seals too but they stay under the dock and only come up on the boat deck and steps seemly...

I really like HDPE. Easy to cut, very tough, lubricious, and durable. But it isn't cheap and unfortunately difficult to adhesively bond.

    Cost of pallet forks

No need to pile on here but I will. I bought Jery Dunn QA and his adjustable forks. Best mod for my BX. I use the forks more than the bucket and they tend to be on most of the time. I've seen buckets bent bad because of strap on/bolt on forks. Especially on small tractors the loss of lift...

anyone with experience on tingling fingertips after touching hot pieces a couple months ago.

I badly cut my pointer finger a year and a half ago. Doc at the time said to go see a hand surgeon because I might have nerve damage. I chose to wait and apparently that wasn't a good idea. Doc said that you need the nerves repaired quickly for surgery to be effective. I still have...

How to tap into propane (iron pipe) line

I plumbed a propane BBQ to run off the house tank and also installed a garage furnace. Gave me reason to buy a couple tools. A manometer and also this handy gas sniffer that you can check on all your gas appliances...

What is your favorite Quote or Saying?

I will beg to differ... tight spaces using my BH. Had to remove my front bucket to navigate a tight turn just to get to the worksite. I could not have gotten into the space with a tractor larger than my BX.

    Jery Dunn Tach-N-Go and Forks

Kind of like me pushing snow and ice on the driveway while my wife and neighbor shoveled. My wife said afterward, "why do you keep making a mess over where I shoveled?" My response didn't go over well.

Pacific North West - Excessive heat warning issued

Yep it was on the ground awhile before I decided to move it. Normally it doesn't hang around long but we were getting restless on being able to get down the hill along with our elderly neighbors that need care.

    Rant on shipping

Not a rant but a bit of an adventure today. The UPS guy bravely climbed our 1000ft paved steep private driveway servicing us and three neighbors. Traditional truck w/dualies and outside tires chained. On the way down he realized our snowy driveway was all ice underneath. Not hard to get up...

We have a local chain store for misc fasteners and other high quality consumables. Tacoma Screw. One of the few local hardware stores I will miss if they go bye bye. Another... McLendon's is pretty good, just a little farther to go. I know this doesn't help others not in the Puget Sound area...
