Have tractor need something for ditch mowing

I used to do 600 feet of ditch and 300 feet of tree line with a hand held trimmer, on just about a weekly schedule. A FIMCO tank, pump and 53% glyphosate took care of that problem.

    My first John Deere

Just for reference i broke the glass door on one of my Gators probably 7 years ago. The glass door alone was $850 plus a new door seal about $50. $900 dollars because of a rock from the mower. All the glass ended up on the ground so the shop vac took care of that.

JD 4310 Steering Hydraulic Problem (Solved)

If it is leaking when you shut down the tractor it could be a suction leak. That is when the tractor is running and the pump is rotating it draws fluid from the transmission reservoir plus some air which could be your problem with the fluid. My 4320 had a suction leak on the large steel line...

    4052R Over Heating

I think I have mentioned this before. Air hoses and aluminum radiators don't mix. You can easily bend the aluminum fins with a air hose. Then you have a radiator that is even less efficient. What did I do wrong drilling these holes?

Just to muddy up the waters. Centers as in dead centers that are use on lathes and grinders are generally ground to 60 deg 15 min. The part center that is machined is machined at 60 degs. You don't want to point load the center because that will cause TIR and machining problems.

John Deere X758 Radiator Placement reason .

My brother in laws JD 748, is like that. What I don't understand is why they put the electrical fuse box in front of the radiator, in the path of the radiator intake air. Measuring/calculating PTO speed (not PTO speed = Machine speed / implement speed)

PTSG noted the 4 pto speeds. 540, 750, 860, 1000. The PTO speed is directly proportional to the engine speed. You could idle the tractor and count the revs. in each of the 4 pto speeds. Lets say 900 rpm is engine idle speed and 2500 rpm engine speed is the 540 rated PTO speed. Therefore you...
