I zip-tied a piece of dense foam on the top cross member between the loader arms and wrap two different size chains over the foam. Works pretty well for me.

I wrapped mine with black stretch tape and then over wrapped it with electrical tape. It’s been holding for almost two years now. Did have to re-wrap once but otherwise it’s been a good inexpensive fix for me.

One of my brothers is a mechanical engineer For GM. He recommended I use Stanadyne Performance Formula so i add it to the 300 gal storage tank whenever I add fuel to it. So far i’ve never had any fuel issues summer or winter.

The button won’t stop the blades from turning. You only push it briefly to back up. If you don’t, it will stop the pto and you have to re-start the blades. Yeah, it can be a pain. You do eventually get used to it and it becomes second nature but kind of frustrating. Some guys disable it but not...

If you don't want to get a tank and pump (diesel fuel lasts a very long time) maybe you should consider a shaker hose. It’ll transfer by syphon.

Not sure what you mean. Would tension then be relieved as soon as I took weight off of it?

You can check where the tractor has been serviced in the past. Dealers usually keep track of the hours the unit has whenever it goes in for any service. So you’d at least know what was on it the last time it was in for any kind of service. Just a thought.

You cannot make dirt to replace dirt that has been removed by digging the surrounding areas. An excavator or backhoe won’t be much help unless gou already have one. I think your best bet is to use the dirt from the trenches you plan to dig and use a dump trailer and your existing FEL to donthe job.
