    1720 differential problems

Hi Winston. I'm glad you got your tractor running again and, yes, we were bought out by All States Ag Parts in May. Most of the same people stayed on and we are still at the same location so not much has really changed- except we have access to a lot more parts now.

What is your shipping zip code and what else is in your cart? Our shipping rates come direct from UPS.com with no added handling charges. UPS is extremely expensive these days but I did a few test orders and did not see anything close to $25. I think you are talking about this piece...

    YFL 155 float valve operation

Some valves don't have a float position but, if it does, you just move the lever beyond the normal lower position. Push the lever to lower the bucket and then you would just push it a little more and it should go from 'power down' to a float. Normally there is a detent there to hold the valve in...

    Yanmar Diesel Fuel Bowl

Our FB-2 is the longer bowl and is correct for the 2610. The FB-9155 is a larger diameter bowl used on some of the F series and will not fit on your filter valve. https://www.hoyetractor.com/PROD/FB-2.htm

    Fuel bleeding the 2310 question.

You are correct. Just press them in to bleed the air. Some of the newer Yanmar models started using those instated of the regular bleeder screws.

    Crazy idea?

I think what he is describing is turning down the OD of the alternator (because it spins with the pulley) to true it up and then mounting another pulley on the body of the alternator to drive a power steering pump. If so, I think that would put too much load on the belt driving the alternator...

    YM276 same as YM2310 ??

The 276 manual will be very close and is as close as you will get. They both have the 3T84H engine, both have the same general powershift transmission, and both have the same 4wd axle design. It wont be 100% identical but will be very close.

    Mowing 240 Sound Levels

I don't think I have ever considered the 2 cylinders to be any louder than the 3 cylinders- just a different kind of loud. You can hear each explosion on the 2 cylinders vs more of a roar on the 3 and 4 cylinders.

Isn't the lower right just blank?
  11. H

    YM1502d dash lights

Upper left is high coolant temperature and upper right is low oil pressure. You can test those lights by touching the wire going to the temp switch and/or the oil pressure switch to a bare metal surface on the tractor. The corresponding light should light up.

YM2000D 3 pt lever wont stay up

That style uses a couple disc springs and friction washers to maintain tension on the lever. You might be able to tighten up the tension on those springs by tightening the nuts at the end or might need to replace the friction washer.

YM186D Front Driveshaft Needed - Pretty Please?

Hi Joel, We can't get the complete shaft right now (it is fairly unusual to need the complete assembly) but we do have all of the pieces to make a new one. YM186D Wheel flip and hub adjustment

I don't see why that would not work but it is interesting that the YM186 manual does not mention flipping the hubs around or flipping the wheels around. It just says there are 3 different possible widths. Seems to me like there are a lot more options than that.

    1510D 4WD parts needed

It could be. I have always wondered why the 186D got a different 4wd axle when the rest of the tractor was almost identical to the 1510D. The 186D axle does look like it is heavier duty design. The 1510D appears to put all of the stress on a single 7/8"ish pin through the center where the 186D...

    F24d

They will all have range shifters. Usually there are 3 or 4 range gear options. The only real option is powershift or standard gear shift (and some F series have a super low creep option available). So the 1610, for example, has 4 ranges (1,2,3 and Creep) and a 3 speed powershift for a total of...

    Air filter YM 2000D

Just be careful with the auto parts store air filters that look similar. All that we have found were just a little thinner (1/8" or so) but it was enough that the rubber gasket did not seal and would let dirt in.

    Yanmar red paint code

I'm not a paint expert by any means but I think most of the stuff you can buy off the shelf in the pre-mixed tractor colors is going to be the 'farm enamel' type stuff. Yanmar red paint code

I think MF red was just a little lighter than Yanmar red and Case IH was a little darker red. Back in the old days (before we had the color matched paints) we would paint tractors with a 50/50 mix of the two. It came out close enough that you would never know the difference.

    Yanmar 186D broken shaft

I don't think I have ever seen one break in the middle like that either. Usually the splines just get wore out. The brass looks like either your pilot bushing or the bushings inside your throw out bearing carrier but that is a lot of shavings! Maybe combined with shavings from when the shaft...

    Zen-Noh 2210B Oil Filter Puzzle

That vent tube fitting should unscrew. That would be the easiest way to remove the clog without pushing it into the transmission. Yanmar 1601d electrical repairs worth it?

I have actually seen several of those regulators do that (go up in smoke) and all were right after jump starting or starting on a charger. They don't like that for some reason. You won't do any damage by running without the charging system. It is risky, however, to run without a temp...

Flywheel has 0.030" groove at mating face to clutch. Ok to reuse?

That picture is a bit of an optical illusion. The area where the clutch disc rides is actually protruding - not recessed. FWIW all of our used 336 flywheels are flat all the way across. They do not have the lip like shown below in the service manual.

I'm thinking that is the original YFL650 loader which was the 'Yanmar' loader for the YM186. The loaders Yanmar used were made in Canada from what I remember. I have not seen any with the KMW brand on them before but it sure looks a lot like (ok... identical to) the YFL650. The filter...

Tires 336d tire size and other questions

According to my 336 parts book you could get 13.6-26 turfs, 13.6-28 turfs, and it also lists a 13.6-29 turf but I think that is a misprint. Then in the ag tire section it lists the 11-28 / 8-16 ag tire. I dont see any 13.6 ag tires in my book.

I might be wrong but I don't think the check button does anything to the oil light on the 2310.
