    Loader Snow removal.

Honestly, it's been 6 years since I had to push any snow with the bucket. This past weekend there was 5" on the ground so hardly worth breaking out the tractor. I don't have chains (and can't justify them for our annual snowfall) so my biggest pain was moving back up slight slopes, but slow won...

Best Tractor Battery / charging system issues ?

Your comment prompted me to go look at my battery. As you can see, it states 380CCA. I wonder if there has been a change to the manufacturing process or just a downgrade in the advertised specs. I did mount mine on it's back as that was the only way to clear the hood latch. It...

    Good morning!!!!

I miss the fields of Bluebonnets Jim, but mom always stops to take pictures and send them to me. :) Today is the start of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and it's a beautiful site to behold. Weather this weekend was sunny skies and 60º, good days to clean up the property!

    Good morning!!!!

Wow Mousefield, your splitting area is far neater than mine, I usually just dump the bucket and go. Chase a few rollers every now and then. ;) 32º this morning and going up near 50 this afternoon. It's been full sun for the last three days. Pulled the mower apart yesterday and gave it a good...

I couldn't agree more with this statement. I used an amplified 3G signal for many years with pretty good results. 4G is an even better solution with HomeFusion from Verizon. The CradlePoint router was how I used WiFi in the house. PM me if a used CradlePoint MBR95 is something you might...

Morning all, 36º this morning and going to hit 40º something for a high. Christmas was spent with the wifes' half of the family at a x-country ski lodge near Butte, MT. It was VERY cold but the sun was out most days and it was beautiful country. David, I do have gortex hunting attire and...

    OPTIMA Batteries

I've had this Odyssey battery in my 33D for 6 years now and never had an issue, it's AGM so bouncing around has little effect and I have had none of the corrosion issues that the factory battery provided. The "L" model puts the terminals on the proper side but I did have to modify the connections.

I'm very sorry for the ordeal you're going through Randy. Three years ago my wife had similar symptoms and had testing done for the cause. Her aortic valve was failing due to radiation therapy 24 years ago, for Hodgkins. Her valve replacement went well but the radiation also affected the...

I started looking at phone and wireless card upgrades a few weeks ago for my Verizon account. Good morning!!!!

Waking up on the left coast, 52º and 60º expected. The big thing is it's raining and will continue for at least the next week. We kicked the horses off the summer pasture last weekend. I worked it evenings to remove a few rocks and get some fertilizer and seed down so now I'll let mother...

2000 Honda Rancher. Need a good website for parts.

So I'm the proud owner of a free Honda Rancher. Of course there is no such thing as a free machine, but so far I have no money in it and I got it running, so far so good. It needs a battery and choke cable and the cooling fan hasn't come on yet. I'll change fluids although I'm told it had a...

    Score on guage wheels

I just wanted to show the casters that will soon be attached to the box blade. Picked them up at the recycle yard for $5 each. They still have the mold ribs on the tires. Seemed like a pretty good price to me. Now if I can just get some scrape square stock for the same price, guage wheels...
