SO EXCITED ... and perhaps a bit sentimental

In 4 hrs (6 AM) I will be leaving to pick up the Jacobsen garden tractor. It will be a 1600 km / 1000 mile trip there and back over the next 5 days. Travelling convoy / tandem style with a friend, in our pick-ups. Hopefully the weather is good and the roads are clear.

I received a "let's get to know each other, it's really important" post response from this young lady. I don't know her She's not here as a TBN forum member, as far as I can tell I think she's just surfing social media platforms to get attention - I did not reply. Don't let her pretty face fool...

Hi Vigo327 - thank you for those suggestions. I am making arrangements to go and pick it up next week actually (a circle trip of about 1500 kms). I think that the best guess that I have is about 36 - 40 inches at the steering wheel, so I think you are close I'm still thinking that I will...

    Answer me this...

my daughter has always loved (dill) pickles. to the point that when she was a year old, I considered buying her company shares in BICKS. Instead, decided that I would get a Bicks pickles freight car for the Model Railroad that I was working on :)

I need some help in identifying this John Deere tractor, thanks

It was a general photo posted on a FB group that I moderate, with the question asking what model of John Deere it was? I thought I'd ask the experts here. My best guess was the AR model, but always nice to hear from others. It was not a sales ad, just an interest photo, query.

selling a (used) bx2660 potential buyer wants it w/out the loader, advice& value please

Keep the tractor and the loader together in the sale. No discount just because he "says" he doesn't want / need a loader (anybody could say that to get a deal). I like the $1 discount, and /or wait for another buyer. Having a leftover loader is a disservice to you.

Farm accidents: Low IQ levels or wrong choices

Accidents can happen to anybody. Sometimes it's what you do / don't do; or perhaps what someone else does / doesn't do. Numerous reasons for farming accidents, and caution and experience won't cover all of it either. Sometimes shifting dirt, water, even wind will create havoc in a routine...

    Sit in bathtub/shower?

to drain the Full tub, it takes about 3 minutes, not a big deal. as I said previously, this is a choice you make when you need it, or as you plan for it. I don't think of it as a goal, more of a necessity. but opinions may vary. (my opinion certainly changed, after it became a safety concern)

    Sit in bathtub/shower?

I'm glad that the solution is working I just gotta say that when my wife and I bought the walk-in tub / shower 4 years ago, it was a NEED, not a GOAL. If your circumstances do not require such a measure, the walk in tub is likely not even on your radar, and you would probably say it is not a...
