    3-Point Hitch  3-Point bleeding/leaking down

This has been discussed in another thread but I changed the o-ring/backup rings today and thought I would document it for reference. 3 pt re ring - YouTube

    Timing on Mitsubishi KE70 engine

Anybody ever successfully test/adjust the timing on their KE70 engine (Bolens G15x, Iseki TX1300)? I played around once with this before on a KE70 that originally came with a TX1300F but it seemed like that one checked out ok. I just rebuilt another one in a Satoh S370D and the fuel pump had a...

Anybody recognize this diesel engine manufacturer?

I have around a 55 hp 4 cyl diesel in a Waldon loader. Runs a Nippon Denso pump. The only markings I can find are on the oil fill cap and the same symbol is cast into the block. Anybody recognize this? I'd say Japanese but I really have no idea. I don't see any other nameplates, etc.

    TX tractor engine curves

I came across the KE70 and 75 curves so I thought I'd add the K3A and B curves to them and post all of them here so they are easy to access. I'm actually surprised how linear the power curves are for the KE70/5 and how flat the torque curves are. More so than I would have thought. it's also...

    Bolens G244 loader addition

Posting this here incase anybody in the Iseki forum is familiar with the hydraulics on a Bolens G19x/G24x or Iseki TS1910/TS2220 machine. Thanks in advance! http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/hydraulics/311570-loader-addition-bolens-g244.html#post3765807

    Loader addition on Bolens G244

Hi all. Looking for help/advice on tapping the tractor hydraulics on a Bolens G244 machine to operate a loader from another dissimilar tractor. Based on the manual and looking at the transmission housing, I've concluded I need to tap into the hydraulic cap shown in the attached picture. The...

Snow  Adapting a front-mount Kubota B2650 to an Iseki TX series tractor

Here's part 1 of adapting a Kubota snow thrower to a TX Iseki. You might want to wait until it's done before setting out to convert one though. I have no idea when and if I'll actually get it done, so bear with me in the interim. The only potential problem I can see at this point is the drive...

    1308 front PTO speed

Someone asked about the front PTO ratio for a model 1308 PTO but I can't find the post now so I'm starting a new one on it. Today I took one apart and found the driver pulley to be 110 mm O.D. and the driven pulley to be 148 mm O.D. Not to be confused with the 'pitch diameter' but this still...

What is a grey market tractor?

Here's the "gray market" version of your tractor (with 4wd) if it were imported to the US in all its gray-market-glory: Not really much difference except for paint, maybe the seat, and some attachments that "legitimate importers" such as Bolens could apply from their existing line of...

Mitsubishi KE75 turbo retrofit how to/not to

Well after some time pondering the whole turbocharging a factory N/A diesel and seeing a recent post (which I can't seem to find further information on another site which was referenced), I decided to try to adapt a turbo to a Mitsubishi KE75 engine to see how it would play out. At my...

    3-pt shop crane

Thanks. A couple nice features of a 3-pt crane: 1.) It allows smaller tractors to have the ability to lift more than a typical boom pole and loader setup. Of course the crane needs to be set down to do so. You can still pull the unit along assuming the ground is hard and level enough to...

    3-pt shop crane

I always wanted to rig up a 3-pt connection to move my shop crane around. Finally got around to it. Works great for pulling up small trees/shrubs with the mobility it has now. I only plan on transporting it and not using it like a boom pole but I suppose it could be used like that as well...

    Hydraulics lesson

Today I moved the remote hydraulics off my donor machine to the TX1300F. I marked all the hose connections so they would go back the same way they came off the other tractor. After everything was together enough to test it I bled the lines of air and that seemed to go ok. Then I discovered...

    Iseki TX1300 KE75 engine swap

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate here this weekend so I'm going to push forward with a KE70 to KE75 engine swap. I plan on having it finished up by the end of next weekend. I'm not documenting every step, just a few snapshots. The biggest problem I had so far was splitting the...

    Bolens G154 / Iseki tx1300f

The fuel filter you have looks great, but sometime down the road though you may want to install the replaceable element kind (it looks like the one you have is not element-replaceable) like in the attached picture although price-wise you can't beat what you have. This kind allows easier...

    Satoh Beaver sticker/decal help

Hi All, Was wondering if someone out there has a Beaver III in pretty good shape that could help me with the decal text. Specifically, I need the text on the hydraulic filter cleaning as I couldn't read all of it on the original (see attached pic). It is located on the right fender...

Mowing  Mid-mount (belly) mower installation on TX tractors

Anybody have any pics of how a belly mower should mount up on the TX series of tractors? I bought one with some evidently missing parts and really am at a loss on how it's "supposed" to be. I got to the point where the lift cables hook up to the 3-pt (I think) but I don't know how exactly. I...

    Beaver re-do

Nice job - looks great! It's amazing what some wire-wheeling and paint can do. I like tractors since sheet-metal is limited and sheet-metal, to me, is the most difficult. I don't think I'll ever want to restore a car or truck for that reason. All the rest of the parts on a tractor are heavy...

    TX1500F Head gasket torque settings

My manual shows between 94 and 101 ft*lbs. This assumes a KE75 which is the only engine I know of that comes in a TX1500.

    KE70 engine low power?

It has become apparent that the KE70 engine in my Iseki TX1300F seems to not be running correctly. Anybody have any experience with these engines and how much power they seem to have? They are suppose to be equivalent to the K3A engine and mine just seems to be a dog. I take about a 20% hit...

    Mitsubishi KE70 to KE75?

Hi all, Just wondering from those who are familiar with the Mitsubishi KE70 and KE75 engines - is the KE75 just a bored out KE70? The reason I'm asking is I may need to rebuild a KE70 and if I need to buy new pistons and/or bore it out, it seems like I should just take it to the same bore as...

Oil & Fuel  Grease in front bevel gears?

Hi all, I just bought an Iseki tx1300f and went to change all the fluids. All went fine until I went to drain the front bevel gears (the ones closest to the wheels) and nothing came out. Upon further inspection, I saw that somebody had filled the cavities full of grease, or at least mostly...
