Need help coming up with a price on my 4110 - selling it

I have an '09 4110 with Front end loader, sun screen AND only 150 hours. It is in great shape, garaged always. We are selling the farm and moving closer to the city. Really just used it to mow pastures. What would this tractor go for, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Throttle doesn't respond

I have a 4110, about 3 years old. Today while mowing I had the RPMs set at 2800 for the PTO. When I tried to stop and look at something I pushed the throttle forward but the speed did not change. Seems like there is no resistance when I pushed it forward. The engine stayed at the higher RPM...

    PTO just quit!

Mowing some tallish thin weeds. Got that done and moved to regular grass, not tall at all. After about 10 feet the mower stopped as if I had push the knob in. Any ideas where to check?

    4110 Glow plug dashboaard indicator

When I turn the key to activate the glow plug, the light on the dash does not come on. I have checked the fuse and that is okay. I don't know if the light bulb is burned out or if the glow plug does not work. Looks like a pain to get to the light bulb, any ideas?

Mahindra Gas Gauge - which end is up?

I have a 4110 tractor, love it. My concern is how accurate the gas gauge is. This unit has an 8 gallon tank, unfortunately mounted high behind the seat. Very trying to fill. When my gauge is close to empty and I put in 4 gallons (all I can lift and control), the needle will slowly move up to...

Put my LT1050 to bed for the winter.

Up here in North East Missouri, grass cutting season is over. So with the help of a buddy we: Filled the tank with fresh gas and put in Stay-bil and a shot of Heet. Ran the engine for five minutes to run the additives into the engine and warm up the oil. Changed the oil and filter, clean the...

The myth of the "Easy Remove Deck".

I have a heck of a time removing the deck on my LT1050 (2007). Those big "spring clips" don't seem to budge. Anyone have tricks of the trade to share?

    Replacing the deck chute

I have an LT1050. The deck chute has ripped. The original seemed to be kind of plyable, bendable I mean. Got the replacement part yesterday and it seems more like a hard plastic. I have not compared but I am going to assume at this point that the part is correct. My question is the...

Posthole Digger  Mounting a Posthold Digger

On the large pipe that attachs to the top link there are three holes where the curved pipe that attaches to the lower links would be attached. What are the purpose of the three holes? I mounted using the one closest to the tractor. The unit seemed to work okay. My geometry not being what it...

    THe 4110 and Number 1

3-Point Hitch  Lost pins in both arms.

Looking for the problem with my finishing mower leaving streaks, I verified the blades were clean and the belt tension was right on at 2 7/8 inches. Then, wow, there were no pins in the hitch arms. I can see how the mower would move side to side without those pins. Guess I will have to put...

Mowing  Just a nice 2 hours.

Spent on the 4110 mowing on Sunday. The heat of Saturday was gone, just a nice breeze blowing. The sun screen makes for a real comfortable platform with the sun overhead. Reminded me of why I bought this beautiful machine.:)

    Back on the Tractor Again.

Got a chance to jump on the 4110 last night and till SWMBO's garden. Tilled in two directions and the tiller did a great job. Real nice to sit up there and feel and hear Big Red working. Post-hole drilling next!:p

    How long between starts?

I have a new (17 hr) Mahindra 4110 sitting in the barn. The fuel is treated. I started her and let her run for 30 minutes about 3 weeks ago. How often should I do this. I have no reason to bring it out of the barn. First time with a diesel tractor. Although it has been really cold (-15 one...

Would it hurt to proof read the manuals

I am amazed by the poor quality of the 4110 operators manual. I have seen sloppy proof reading as I teach college classes, but man this takes the cake. The section on draft control is a doozie. It says if you raise the draft control lever the ground contact increases, if you lower it, it...

    4110 Block heater

New to this diesel thing. My 4110 sits in an unheated pole barn. I have power in the barn. I have read somethings on block heaters but really don't know all that much about them. I have a trickle charger set up for the tractor but have not plugged it in as I am still using the tractor. I...

    Tractor death in NE MO

One week ago, a man - 52, bush hogging and cut around a brush pile. He hit a stump and rolled over. Daughter came home what they believe is 4 or 5 hours later and found him. 8 children without a father. I don't know any details about the tractor. Sad.

Mowing  The 4110 and the Bushhog RDTH 84 Finishing Mower

I am very please with the 4110. I have had it three weeks and have used my Yanmar 60 inch tiller with very good results. Saturday I took delivery of a Bush Hog 84 inch Finishing mower. Very well made piece of equipment. I set it half way on the depth gauge and mowed a hay field that had...

    It's the 4110!

Been at this for some time now. Pestered some of you with questions off and on. Now is the time to buy. Looked at a 2816, 4110 and 5035 last night. Man that 5035 is big machine! The price was very tempting with $1,000 off becuase it had 50 hours on it. Kind of a demo, they used it to pull...

Financing  THe future of financing programs.

I have to admit the 0% financing program is very attractive. I will be pulling the string this fall on a new Mahindra, I hope. The dealer closest to me has an add on the radio taking about no interst and no payments for 6 months, then 4.5% for 5 years. So what do you all feel about financing...

    My comfort place.

I had a heck of weekend with garden chores. Tilling with the 5 hp Troy built, the garden is 80 x 30 only about 1/3 planted so I had some rows and then larger areas. Took about an hour. Then mother wants a 10 x 12 ft "salad garden" raised bed. Using deck planks I built 12 inch high walls...

What exactly is a slip clutch and how does it work?

Kind of a newby here. I have a Yanmar 5 ft. tiller and no tractor. My Jubilee won't work because the ground speed is too fast. A friend comes over with his tractor to do the tilling and he uses the tiller on his place. He keeps saying we need a slip clutch but I don't know much more about...

Oil & Fuel  LT 1050 Oil Change

Can the engineer that designed the location for the oil drain valve please stand up? I have a few words for him. Like: Why did you put the starter directly in the way of the oil change valve? Doesn't any one of you engineers try to work on these machines during mock up? Don't you have an...

LT 1050 Deck Washing fitting not working.

Is the 2615 4WD enough for me?

I will be mowing about 3 acres with a finishing mower, bush hogging occasionally but nothing that has not been mowed before. Also tilling a 30 x 80 garden in the spring and fall with a Yanmar 5ft. gear driven tiller. I will also work up about 2 acres in food plots. Mostly level ground but...

    Have implements, need tractor

I have 80 acres about half open. I use a Jubilee but it has horsepower limitations. The tractor will be used primarily to mow 8 acres, 3 of it weekly; and tilling gardens and food plots. I have a Yanmar 58" gear driven tiller. I will also brush hog some (have a 5 ft. Howes) and a 9" / 12"...

    1 Ton Chain Hoist

I am thinking of getting a 1-ton chain hoist for my shop to use with the riding mower maintenance.
