Well, I dropped off the old 2017 L3901 and picked up the 2022 l3902hst 50th anniversary edition today.

I really wanted to hold out for an L4702 if that ever becomes a reality but this L3902 will be such a massive improvement over the L3901 I have Currently.

When did the MX go to the grand L style of digital dash cluster? That looks like a grand L series tractor and not an MX. I was at my local dealer today getting parts for my L3901 and checking tractors out and the new MX they had there still had the same treadle peddle like my standard L series.

I put some flat 3/4 expanded metal on my l3901 grill guard and contoured the top to match the cross bar radius. So far it’s held up really well.

Some red pine I skidded out with my L3901 a while back with a friend. The large pile was all pulp wood and the smaller pile further down was all smaller saw logs. All together it ended up being three loads.

Took a few hours on my L3901 and bh77 today to dig out some fill from one area of my yard and fill in the hole with a bunch of big boulders that I had piled up. Using the fill that I dug out to cap off the boulders and extend my back yard.

So I bought a used Wallenstien BX42 chipper and I'm just curious what the difference is between it and the Wallenstien BX42S. They both appear to be exactly identical as far as I can tell.

So here's some pics of my hydraulic circuit. Power beyond goes straight out to the backhoe and loops back under the right side floor pan and then connects to the third function valve. From the third function valve, flow comes It and goes directly into the loader valve. Pretty straight forward...

Finally brought it home today and put it to work. My weekend is booked up and I really couldn't wait until next week to be able to schedule a delivery.

Dealer has it almost all put together. Just waiting on my R1 ag tires and the hydraulic hoses to hook up my third function. Can't wait! Best part is, when I initially got the quote I hadn't anticipated having the manual thumb installed on the backhoe but they added it anyway! Score!

I'd say the bucket works pretty good now.

I thought about welding the wear bars horizontally like you see on larger excavator buckets but chose to put them on vertically because that's how kubota welds them on to some different of their larger backhoe buckets. Not my pic but this is a BH77 I used for reference.
