    TC35DA Third Function Remote

So I found out what my problem was. The solenoids get their power from the same line that the 12 volt outlet is on. I unplugged it and the 12 volt plug putting a switch for lights. The solenoid plug was barely poking through the body so I didn't see it when I put things back together. So...

    TC35DA Third Function Remote

Same thing happened to mine. I can usually hear the solenoids with the key on, but not running the engine. Today, nothing. Needless to say, I'd sure like to find out too.

    Checking the front axle level

I went with not screwing it in. The wording in the manual made it sound like that was the way to go. Either way is ok,I'm sure. I did learn to wait 10 to 15 minutes after adding or draining before checking to give the fluid a chance to level out. That's from the manual too.

Bringing old gravel to the surface

Like to thank everyone for the input. Sounds like I better plan on just moving gravel from places cars don't go to where they do.

Bringing old gravel to the surface

Our turnaround is bare of gravel in some places. I'd like to bring old gravel to the top. I have a 35HP tractor, loaded tires and a landscape rake. One question is how deep do I eventually set the tines? And should I make a couple of passes shallower and then lower the rake, or just drop it down...

Using a Might Mule opener with a battery and solar panel

I forgot to mention one thing. The keypad stays "active" for 40 seconds. That means if you push any single number on the pad, the gate reverses direction. I didn't read that until after I was testing it out and thought the darn thing was defective. Actually the operator was defective, i guess. :)

Using a Might Mule opener with a battery and solar panel

I got the pinpad for the mighty mule. It will hold up to 25? numbers. I key in the last four numbers of their phone number. You can also make any number invalid after 1 to 7 days. It can be wired or wireless. Very handy when you need to open the gate but forgot to bring the fob.

    Landscape Rake prices

I went with Homestead and have no regrets. The rake has been very useful for me. Working on the driveway, road and getting the ground ready for grass. I even manged to hook it up today in under 5 minutes. A new best time!

    Seat safety switch

I bypassed the switch today. I used 2 inches 18 or 20g(not sure which), solid wire. Pull the connector apart, strip both ends of the wire and plug into the connector coming from the tractor. Covered both halves of connector with some Coax Seal to keep moisture out and all is good.

Using a Might Mule opener with a battery and solar panel

I'm installing a Might Mule (MM) opener and will use a battery and solar panel to power it. I have a solar controller that hooks to the solar panel, battery and load. I'd plan to run wires from “load” to the battery terminals on the MM controller board. Then I noticed the MM controller board has...

    Checking the front axle level

I can't find the answer in the manual. Do you screw the cap with the dipstick in or not to get reading on the stick? My guess is screwing it in, but I need confirmation. CK3510 By the way

    Adjusting the Landrake

Thanks to everybody for all the good suggestions. I'm going to try skimming the surface for practice. If I dig it up a little it'll be ok. I'm thinking of just redoing the whole thing in the spring any way. I'll try digging deeper, pull out some big rocks, then go shallower and so on to get most...

    Adjusting the Landrake

I want to use the landrake to remove rocks from the surface, but it likes to dig in and pull up soil too. Is it possible to just skim the surface? Or am I asking too much? Any advice on what to try to make it less aggressive?

    Securing Hydraulic Lines

I have to take a cylinder from my grapple in and have my dealer fix a pinhole leak. Getting it off looks pretty straight forward, but I'm wondering what I need to do to the open ends of the hydraulic lines. I don't know how long they'll keep it and I don't want water, dirt, bugs or whatever...

Where are the new NS Series Tractors and Grapples?

I've had a Kioti 66" grapple since I got the tractor this last summer. Only got into some real work today. Too many other things going on. Unfortunately I have a pin hole leak in the left cylinder, at the bottom hose fitting. It's that little black spot near the center of the picture. I'll...

Lucky man. The 3510SE I paid for last week was still in the crate. Have to put it together, but I'm hoping to get it soon. (Next week maybe?) Still feel lucky not having to wait 3 or4 months though. Showed up to dealer at right time. He'd just gotten his 3rd quarter shipment in. Lots of...

    DR Mower-First Timer

I'm calling it Mickey, because it really gives you a work out-and I kind of feel like I've been chasing a chicken around a yard all day. DR Chipper Attachment

I got my chipper today. It comes on a small pallet with the box being about 26"x26" by 30" tall. It weighs about 185lbs with hand holds on either side. Two people could manage it easy. You have to bolt on the legs, discharge chute and hopper. They say you need two 1/2" wrenches. I'd say one...

    Steering a DR brush mower

I'm considering getting a 15hp pro to maintain my property. I've got six foot tall grass on a large level spot, scotch broom on a hill and silal and huckleberry around the perimeter. I'm going to put in the water line soon and have been wondering about a couple of things. The total run will be about 300'. I'm not sure if I should go 3/4" or 1". And what material to use? 1/4 Inching and Postition Control

Even though I know the difference between the two (I love this video YouTube - Kubota B7610 Quarter Inch Valve versus Position Control) I'm wondering for what I have in mind if I can get by with the 1/4 inching setup. A box blade sits on the ground when in use, so it seems position control...

    Shuttle Shift

    Front-End Loader  FEL Published Ratings

When a manufacturer rates a front end loader at X pounds, does that mean you can lift X pounds with the standard bucket, or do you have to subtract the weight of the bucket from X? I assume the first. Replace the OEM bucket with a grapple (for instance)that weighs less, and you can lift more...

?'s About Wiring Work Lights On A Mahindra

If my math is right, two 55 watt lights (110 watts total) draw about 8 amps at 13.8 volts. The 14 gauge wire should handle that just fine. (Seems it can handle 15 amps total) So your 15 amp fuses will be fine and you don't really need the 10 gauge wire. It's really stiff and can be a bear to...

I just bought five acres on Key Peninsula in Washington state. If you want to look it up on a map, look for Home, Washington. It straddles a ridge and runs east to west.
