I switched from an ASV RT60 tracked machine to a PT1460 and have no regrets. 1850 with duals should be even more stable. I don't spend much time on real steep stuff, but most of my time is spent on stuff that was pretty spooky on a standard tractor. Undulating terrain is where the PTs shine...
My pt1460 is 79" tall. Best machine decision I've made. Had a pt425 for a couple of years then got a tracked loader for the heavy stuff, picked up the pt1460 this year to replace the pt425 and tracked machine and have no regrets. I've had standard tractors, near impossible to think about...
The 1460 I recently purchased came with the utility grapple that I'm not going to use, already have a grapple.
Wanted to see if anyone wanted to trade for/towards a Mower/Bush Hog/Power Rake/ or other 1460/2460 attachments?
Let me know what you have. I'm just north of Charlotte, NC. Willing to...
PT425 with bucket, 60" mower, bush hog, mini hoe, forks, and hitch adapter
I believe it is a 2013, has the robin engine with ~1200hrs, other than the bucket, the attachments have been used very little.

Anyone familiar with the bigger machines know if there is an easy way to add a case drain connection? Is there a case drain off of the wheel motors? I would like to be able to run some of my skid steer implements that require a case drain.
I found a pt1460 so it is time to part with my pt425. I'll try to get pictures this week.

Quick update:
It was not the ignition switch, it ended up being the positive battery cable, it had corroded at the post connection. It did not look bad enough to cause an issue, but the corrosion had gone under the cable jacket.
More details regarding the symptoms in case anyone in the future...
Starting to think it is the ignition switch. I continuity checked it and it checked out fine but when I reinstalled it, in the on position, I checked the voltage across going to each terminal and I'm getting a fraction of a volt. Full 12.5v coming into the switch from the battery.
Ordered one...
Battery terminals cleaned today. Battery checked out fine at the place I purchased it from(2 years old).
Even with a brand new heavy duty jumpncarry diesel rated lead acid jump starter I am getting nothing, no lights, and just a click at the starter.
I took the ignition switch off and tested continuity and it appears to be working fine.
Took the battery terminals off and cleaned them.
I'll try a few more things tomorrow.
My pt425, with the Robin, decided not to start the other day. Battery is fully charged, also tried my jump starter as well as jumper cables.
I think I can hear a click coming from the starter, and occasionally it will make some louder clicks like it want to try and turn over, but that seems...
Other than ordering less stuff, how can we minimize the 3 point turn ruts in our crusher run driveway from deliveries. The drive is 700' so backing out is not a reasonable ask. When they crank their tires from one side to the other in one spot it makes a little depression, when it rains, the...

What's the best option as far as gravel. Around here most people use ABC/Crusher Run, it packs nicely with the fines. Is there a better option I should consider? What have you had the best luck with in the long run?
Yep, I'll try and post some before and after pics if I try to narrow it! I'm pretty much convinced to leave it at its current width and just add to the middle. I played with using the bucket to pull up some of the gravel and that seems like a slow process.
That might be the best option. I was hoping to recover some of the gravel from each side but if its more effort than its worth, I may just put the new stuff in the middle. I don't need the yard back for anything, just don't want my gravel bill to be through the roof.
I wish I could take it all off one side but unfortunately it needs to come off each side.
Light taper to shallow ditches.
I do have room to drive parallel to the drive for 2/3rds of the drive.
I like the line idea, I had planned on doing something to keep it crisp.
We put the lawn in this fall...
The drive is a year and a half old and is a little rough, it was supposed to be 6" deep but at this point is only 2-4" in many parts. It is currently non spec ABC (N rock around here), we had always planned to top it with something a little nicer post construction. All of the contruction...
Quick update-
She is running as good as new for now! I ended up replacing the spark plugs and she cranked right up and runs great.
She will run on one cylinder, so I am a little stumped as to what caused it. The right side plug was very fouled, did not get a chance to see the left side plug...
That thread had a lot of great info, thanks.
I took the carb off and cleaned it, still would not start and still backfiring through the carb--much cooler looking at night!
I then checked the compression and have 160 on the right and 155 on the left.
maybe timing/valves?
Advice on next steps?
PT425 ran great yesterday, won't start today and is backfiring through the carb. It will try to start, pop, and sputter, but can't get her going. Tried a little starting fluid in the carb and it tried to start and backfired through the carb and cought the overspray on fire-- small fire, just...
I am thinking of moving up to a larger machine and wanted to put some feelers out there:) I have a PT425 with bucket, brush mower, finish mower, mini hoe, forks & hitch mount. I have been looking for a 1430 or 1445 but have not come across a clean used one. Please message me if you have one...
My son and I went to move a trailer with our PT yesterday and it was running poorly, seemed to be running rich, after a few minutes at idle she died and would not restart I took the air filter off and it was soaked in oil. She started fine with the air filter off but we could see oil coming...
PT425 T8 to mini skid (dingo) adapter, has anyone done this? I have searched the forum and found some links to drawings but the links are dead.
What would be the best way to do it? I know the mounting angles are different so that would need to be addressed.
My dad and I have a new to us PT425...
It is at my dad's, but I'll check next time I'm over there. I believe the gentlemen we purchased it from said it was ~2013. I know it has a plastic tank. Here a few pics-
My dad and I have a new to us PT-425 and we are looking to pick up a few attachments. We are looking for a power rake, brush cutter, forks, and an auger. Might be interested in other attachments as well. Just wanted to check and see if anyone had anything collecting dust they might be...
