    Montana 5740 shuttle shifting problems

    Hey Yawl, our 5740 shuttle won't stay in forward position...like the synchronizer or top shaft has play...it wants to push back when you try to hold it in..the tractor can be driven around like this but not worked.Is this a design/material weakness or possibly heavy hand operating? Thanks...

    5740 shuttle problems

    Howdy Yawl Montana 5740... my shuttle shift keeps jumping out of the forward position...i looked for a linkage adjustment...but looks like the shift shaft goes directly into the top of the shift case (no adjustment)....what do you think? thanks, RC:confused:
