    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

Nice work 2 many. Couldnt u could still weld in a receiver tube to the side of the center post? I don't think being very slightly off center for the receiver tube will affect it significantly. Also, as suggested above the adapter angle is a compromise. The curl is somewhat limited at full...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

That's right 2many--no turning back--full steam ahead! Finished up the angles and cleaned up some unnecessary bits of the 3pt. portion of the ssqa. Moving onto the bottom support angle iron. Bought some 4 by 4 angle iron at the local metal shop. There were very nice to me and cut this piece to...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

So if your implement plate is 44.5in wide like in this diagram at the top and your ssqa plate on your machine is only 39.5in wide at the top do u need to weld some blocks on the sides of the implement plate at the top bracket to make the spacing less wide at the top to keep it from moving side...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

2many rocks. Yes, I have some triangles leftover from cutting the side supports that I am planning on using to gusset things up. Stay tuned.... Yes, the angles that I cut into the side supports allow for what I think is a good position for the PTplate and they are actually welded up nicely. I...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

Now that the top has been cut off I can find the angle for the PT plate. I want the PT plate to weld flush to the top ssqa tube crossmember and I would like some set back to the bottom of the plate. If I leave the bottom portion of the 3 pt hitch the angle is just about right. So I am going to...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

I am using my cardboard template to fit the location of the PT adapter plate. I cut the middle out of the cardboard adapter where it is too big to fit inside the 3pt side metal portions of the ssqa. I think I want the top of the PT plate about even with the top tube crossmember of the ssqa. This...

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

Started the C.A.D design for the adapter plate--cardboard aided design---haha!!! That cracks me up every time I hear it/say it. The PT plate is heavy so this should help me figure out the position on the ssqa alot easier.

    Powertrac to ssqa adapter

I am thinking the top of my Powertrac adapter plate should be just below the angled "hook" portion of the ssqa-just about where the red line is. I think I will cut off the top of the 3 pt hitch portion of the ssqa plate. If I lower the PT adapter plate some, it looks like I would cut away less...

    M930 Charging Valve-Bad oil leak

I have deliveries coming tomorrow and I need the machine to work NOW. Just picked up the new charging valve assembly PT sent me. TU for the tip about the o-ring. Was able to find some more information about this part in the search feature. Does anyone have a schematic for the hydraulic systems on a PT1460? M930 Charging Valve-Bad oil leak

Ok, first bad oil leak. This valve is bolted to the back of the port side wall inside the rear tub. Noticed a line of oil on the dirt while driving and realized that can't be good. Was able to locate the leaking area by where the oil was pumping out the side of this valve. A slow steady stream...

    PINE logs anyone?

Portable mill idea sounds good. How does that work using home milled lumber cause the boards will not be graded? Do u have to use that non graded lumber material for non habitable structures like a pole barn, garage, shop, etc?

    PINE logs anyone?

I heard the same as u. There's a huge oversupply of logs right now. Log people don't have any more room for logs? But milled lumber prices are up 300 percent in 1 year. How many teeth should I add to my 4 in 1 bucket/tooth mount style-Beast Mode

No issues so far. The lip on the 4 in 1 bucket is very thick and the pressure from going into the dirt goes to the back section of the dozer portion of the bucket which seems to take it well.
