So I went to do an oil change on the transmission of my A and the manual says 27 quarts. I didn't even finish the first 5 gallon bucket before it was over flowing, but about 27ish quarts came out of it when I drained it. Any ideas??

I have a 1967 Ford 2000 with the 8-speed transmission and it's time for a fluid change. From what I've gathered, I need to put UTF in the rearend because of the hydraulics. But the biggest question I have is can I use that stuff in the tranny as well? I've heard people just use that stuff in...

Well I added this '51 Model A to the barn today. It's gonna need some carb work, as you have to have the choke out a little bit to keep her going, and the brakes are nonexistent...but all and all I'm quite satisfied! I'm sure I'll be back with questions as I go along!
