Hi guys,
I have a mower (yeah yeah) that has a starting issue. Im posting here as the groundscare forums dont know the answer, and Im hoping the Hive Mind of the TBN world might come up with a solution (as its a JD and a diesel)
I have an error code 3-4 which implies 'starting circuit shorted...
flicking through the threads it looks for depressing reading, broken this not working that - so I wondered who, like me, havent had to do a thing (bar servicing) to their Yanmars...?
YM1510 in three years did filters, seat change, a few mechanically broken pipes on the foreloader. FX22 filter...
i have a japanese girl staying with us this week, and she has translated all the stuff on my F22d for me. If anyone wants labels translated, im sure she can help. Post up a pic, and we will see what she says!

Hi
my F22 has a hydraulic divert lever under the seat, which switches on a pair of ports, which I have used for the FEL. All works as you would expect, except the lift capacity is poor. is this divert thing limited - or is the main hydraulics suspect? I compare it to my last tractor, with the...
F22D - so a 3T based engine, non turbo.
has had a hard life, unloved - the fuel filter was blocked solid. new filter, lines cleaned, injectors re-furbished at great expense. new glow plugs.
cylinder 3 (nearest driver) glow plug was difficult to remove due to amount of carbon buildup. other...
I have a probably leaking diverter valve on a 35, as when its set to loader and the control is on 'up', the 3ph lifts first, then the loader lifts. If its set to external (ie tipper trailer) it doesnt do this.
I can only conclude that the diverter valve seals are leaking, and allowing pressure...
I have, as you might have guessed a Japanese tractor.... But I dont speak or write Japanese...
But there are now 'apps' for your mobile phone (iphone android etc) that can translate from drawn charachters. Its not easy - it takes a while to get them right, but with a little patience, it is...
Sorry - done a bit of searching, cant quite find an answer to my question...
I have a F22D (new to me as of yesterday) and I am transplanting my loader onto it.
From my research, there appears on some FX series to be a pre-plumbed hose(s). Mine doesnt have this.
I do have a small lever...
YM1510 - used carefully for the last few years, with no major problems (broken hydraulic pipes etc was about the worst)
contractor brought in to help, whilst wheelchair bound wife with 11 month baby takes a lot of time up.
anyway - he builds, from scrap components, a triple bladed 6 foot wide...
Someone, friend or not.... bent my tractor. Well, the steering linkage arm
All appears ok - excep the arm from the box to the front axle is bananna like. Has anyone got, or can anyone take, a pic of a 1510 from directly above, and from the side, so I can bend it back into shape?
Thanks in...
some idiot broke my tractor.
YM1510
Bent the steering arm (from steering box to the front axle) like a bananna.
Should I:-
a) bend it 'straight' - and can someone provide a pic of a 'good' one?
b) get a new one - as Im in the UK that means USA sale, and international transport costs?
land...
my elderly neighbour has a 35 and it does something odd:
hydraulic 'switch' in 3ph mode - works normally.
switch on loader mode - 3ph lifts, then once its at the top, the loader lifts, then acts as you would expect, but the 3ph stays at the top.
im guessing there is a leak in the valve...
Hi - a neighbour has asked me to help make him a copy of an original massey 35 counterbalance weight for his '35
There is some discussion about it being off centre, and sloped so that it 'locks' onto the stabilising arms on the 3ph
Is there a drawing of one somewhere - I cant seem to find one...
Just had an idea....
when using a flail mower on uneven ground, the mower would wish to follow the contours of the ground, left right as well as forward / back.
Why couldnt I use chains from the top lift arm to the bottom lift arms? Maybe with the proviso that the chain has a travel limiting...
Hi - been a bit of a lurker - so hope you don't mind the question.
I have a YM1510 yanmar 18?Hp compact tractor in the UK, with three speed 540 style PTO, and three point, with crude control (up, down, fixed).
I have a pathway / road which links the house to the fields, which we made up from...
Some FELs have a linkage from the ram end to the bucket - some dont. Why? Some I have seen are a 1:1 ratio as far as I can see...
All JCBs have them - so there has to be somthing in it..
Had a search- cant find the answer I need... ;(
My 1510 (18Hp) smokes a lot. Local (retired) diesel bloke said to adjust pump fuel adjuster in a bit.
Located said adjuster - the cap nut covers it on the front of the gov block.
Now the problem comes:- the 'big' thread (1/2") seems to adjust...
