    V519 Compact Telehandler

Thank you! That's a huge help. Tells me that I need to use a 4" bore rather than 3" - because at 8gpm is going to extend at 4 inches per second, which is scary fast. 4 inch bore is 2.5 in/second, which is probably about right. 4 inches will be a 22 ton press, which should be just about...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Thanks. That's a good idea, I'll try that. The reason I asked is that I am getting into forging. Everyone seems to be making forging presses and putting in a hydraulic pump, reservoir etc. I thought to myself, "Self, that's a waste of money. You have a much better pump. Just hook it up to...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Question on hydraulics. If I remember correctly the v519 is at 3600 psi, 21gpm. I think it hits full pressure at idle. But what is the flow rate for implements at idle?

    V519 Compact Telehandler

V519 has the quick attach, but I don't think the v519 is avail with high flow. The JCB teleskid does. Nice machine. I seriously considered it. The real kicker was the nearest service center was Savanah, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours away. They said that was not a problem they'd send a truck to...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

I have a v519. I have a 7ft MTL bushog for it, a bucket, graple, post hole auger, 3point/pto that allow me to use a seed spreader, tree puller, and a stump grinder. I've used my v519 for everything I ever did with my 50hp tractor and much much more. It does not have high flow, but I haven't...

Alternative to EA 55 Inch Wicked Root Rake Grapple ?

Check out MTL attachments. I have three things from them (grapple, bushog and forks) and all have been good quality. Their factory is in Georgia, so everything is made in the US, and prices have been reasonable. MTL attachments - Grapples

Also recently got a stump grinder from them. Its their 16-25gpm. It works well. Makes me want a high flow machine, but it beats digging them out.

    V519 Compact Telehandler

For some reason, I stopped getting notifications for this thread... or maybe they just went to junk mail? Anyhow, thought I'd post a few pick of the grapple I bought a while back. It's by MTL attachments, who make the 7ft XC7 cutter I have. It's not as big as some out there, but it gets th...

Went to get picture of zerks... Lol. Someone felt that under the boom was a secure location to raise a family. You can see the bottom two at the base off the hydraulic calendar. Two more at the top:

It would be the drawing that shows the hydraulic ram, I bet. It's on the pin / pivot the hydraulic ram braces against under the boom, and I think there's one on the pin that the ram pushes against too, but can't remember for sure. Greasing the boom it self is just as you describe. Run it out...

    Compact telehandler

As Xfaxman said, no zerk for the boom slide itself. There is a zirk on the pivot at the base of the boom though. You have to lift the boom all the way up and look at the base of it to see it. You really should put the brace on before crawling in there to access it...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Thought I'd post pictures of the CL Fabrication Land leveler I was using today. Has hydraulically controlled rippers/scarifier you can move up and down from the cab. (didn't use today) There is a definite learning curve. V519 doesn't have boom float, so you have to feather it as you go...

Working with my new CL Fabrication tree-puller with grapple guard. Works like a regular puller : But guard is actually a grapple.

    Compact telehandler

My v519 arrived today. I spent a few hours moving wind-fall trees with it. I really like this machine. A few first thoughts: 1) It's A LOT more stable than my tractor. It did not feel unstable at all transitioning across old terraces that we have here in the south (30 degree grades where...

Dirt bucket and a land-leveler, vs 4 in 1 bucket...

So, I've been looking at attachments for using on a Bobcat v519 telehandler. I need a bucket of some sort - there are several areas where I want to move dirt from one area to a lower area, and where I need to address drainage issues etc. I also need something to maintain the drive way. I was...

Here's a comparison of the machines I've been considering. Won't let me post columns or an excel spreadsheet, so I just took a picture of the spread sheet Turns out makes 3 versions of the 525-60 - the Agri and Agri plus models, and their construction version, which is now called teh...

Compact Tractors are Designed All Wrong

Interesting read. Have you ever looked at the Merlo Multifarmer? Addresses a lot of the problems while still offering the option of pulling with a 3 point & PTO if you want to.

Tractor with rear engine, front dump bed, and sometimes a loader

Another interesting one is the Merlo multifarmer. It's a 110-150hp (depending on model) 4-wheel drive Telehandler, with a PTO and 3 point on the back. They are more common in Canada than here, but you can get them on this side of the pond.

Buying Advice Need/want a new tractor

Here is some of the work I need to get done - some of the brush I need to clear. all under 2 inches at the base, but I don't want to drive over it to get the bush-hog on it. Was wondering if a grapple might be a better approach? Or a FEL based bush-hog? Anything attachments has one that...

Buying Advice  Need/want a new tractor

A little background first. I have ~190 acres, mostly planted pine, ~20 acres recently cleared and planted in bahahia, but still a bit rough / uneven. Plan is to convert the pine to more pasture over time - likely silvopasture with 40-60 ft strips between trees. Land has about a 2-3% grade...
