I am getting ready to replace the stub axle bearings on the left front of my YM336D. The question I have is should the seals on the 6211-2RS bearing be remove to allow the 90W to get to the bearing or just leave it sealed? The old bearings look and feel good but have some lost motion in them.

I picked up a 850 4wd with a model 80 loader Friday and there are a couple of brackets I can't identify.

The hydraulic cylinders on my loader need to be repacked. Both the lift and tilt cyl's are bypassing. Anyone know where to find reseal kits. Hoping they are standard. I think the loader is USA built.:confused:

I bought a S-750DD today and need to know what type of oil is used for the trans/hydro. 90wt or hydro/trans fluid ?

An old topic but has anyone ever had any problems in replacing the 80w90 in the transmission with UTF? I have lots of UTF on hand and thought if nothing else it would be good to run it a while to flush the trans/rear out on the Farmpro 2420.

I got the farmpro back together today and thought I would mow with it. It was doing good for 30 min when I started to shift to reverse. I hope a good welder can solve this one!:confused:

I just bought a 2420 and when you first start it it runs at around 500 rpms and won't rev beyond that for 3 to 4 minutes. Then it will take fuel and throttle up like it is should. As long as it is warm it will run well till it cools completely and then it will do the same 3 to 4 minute thing...

Anybody know anything about this model tiller. Seems to be in good condition except a bad ujoint in the PTO shaft. I will take pictures tomorrow.

I have a 650g that has some water in the steering box and when it freezes you can't turn the wheel. I'm trying to figure out a way to drain the box and put new gear oil in without removing the steering box. (Anybody have any ideas:confused:)

I just purchased a 1500. It doesn't have a overflow tank for the radiator and I don't think it has ever had one. When I fill the radiator up completely it puts coolant out the the overflow for a short period and then stops. Should I add a tank or not?

I am considering adding a block heater to my 336. Has anyone had any bad experience with removing the threaded plug behind the starter. Since it's been 25 yrs since it was built I didn't want to create myself a problem.

I just bought a 950 4wd and it seems to build pressure in the front axle. When I take the dip stick out there is pressure like a vent is clogged but I can't locate a vent. I am considering drilling a hole in the dip stick cap.

I posted this once before with no response. I need to replace the steering sector seals and would like to know if they can be replaced without removing the steering box. Reading the repair manual it's not real clear.

You would think I would be tired of working on yanmars but instead I went today and bought another YM336d. It has 847hrs with a spun rod bearing. It don't seem to have ever had a bolt turned on it. If this turns out good I'll sell the other one.

It seems like I fix one problem and another pops up.I got the front drive axle and the tractor seemed fine so I mowed with about 6 hours and the tractor quit pulling in the high range. Does anyone have an idea if that would be the main clutch or the power shift clutch pack?

The fx22d I just bought has 11.2x24 rear tires and 7x14 tires on the front. Anybody know if this is the correct sizes. I like the tractor and considering replacing my ym2002d with it if I can locate brackets to put my koyker loader on it off of my ym2002d.

I have a YM2002D that has 6x14 tires on the front and 8.3x24 on the rear. Some web sites say it should have 5x14 on the front and others say 6x14. My question is. Can I put 9.5x24 on the rear? Thank,s for any reply
